The Clintons spent decades dodging consequences.
They thought their name would protect them forever.
But House Republicans just voted to do something to Bill and Hillary Clinton that left Democrats speechless.
FBI Fingers Clinton In 26 Epstein Flights
The House Oversight Committee voted Wednesday to hold both Bill and Hillary Clinton in criminal contempt of Congress after the couple refused to testify about their relationship with Jeffrey Epstein.
Flight logs from Epstein's private jets show Bill Clinton flew on the convicted sex offender's plane on at least 26 separate flights between 2002 and 2003.
Epstein's longtime confidant Ghislaine Maxwell was listed as a passenger on each of those trips.
The Clintons sent a letter instead calling the subpoenas "legally invalid."
That was their first mistake.
Nine Democrats Break Ranks
Chairman James Comer wasn't having it.
The committee voted 34-8 to advance criminal contempt charges against Bill Clinton, with nine Democrats joining Republicans.
Three Democrats voted to hold Hillary Clinton in contempt as well.
Representative Byron Donalds made the stakes crystal clear.
"What Bill and Hillary Clinton have done is they've thumbed their nose at the House of Representatives," Donalds told Newsmax. "Any other citizen would have to answer that subpoena."

"I Got One Quick Response: 33,000 Emails"
The Florida Congressman explained why the Clintons wouldn't just come testify and repeat what they've already said publicly.
"I think the Clintons have already proven to America that their word cannot be trusted," Donalds stated. "I got one quick response: 33,000 emails."
He was referring to Hillary Clinton's infamous decision to delete more than 30,000 emails after receiving a congressional subpoena during the Benghazi investigation.
An employee at the company managing her server used software called BleachBit to permanently destroy the emails between March 25-31, 2015.
The subpoena had been issued on March 4, 2015.
Flight records show Bill Clinton took four extended international trips on Epstein's Boeing 727 during 2002 and 2003.
The plane was nicknamed the "Lolita Express" by locals on Epstein's private island because of its use transporting young girls.
Clinton's office admitted to the trips after Epstein's 2019 arrest but claimed all were for Clinton Foundation work.
Records show Epstein visited the Clinton White House at least 17 times.
Trump himself flew on Epstein's planes at least seven times during the 1990s, though neither Trump nor Clinton have been accused of wrongdoing related to Epstein's crimes.

Democrats Face Impossible Choice
Committee Democrats spent the hearing attacking Chairman Comer for focusing on the Clintons while the Justice Department runs a month late releasing the full Epstein files.
"It's this subpoena only that Republicans and the chairman have been obsessed about putting all their energy behind," complained ranking member Robert Garcia.
But Democrats couldn't defend the Clintons' defiance.
"No president or former president is above the law," Garcia admitted during the hearing.
That's why nine Democrats voted with Republicans to advance the contempt charge against Bill Clinton.
Representatives Summer Lee, Melanie Stansbury, and Rashida Tlaib joined Republicans on the Hillary Clinton contempt vote.
The split shows how toxic defending the Clintons has become even for Democrats.
When asked whether previous Attorneys General who didn't appear after receiving subpoenas were held in contempt, Comer pointed out the obvious difference.
"I think we would all agree the Clintons had a personal relationship with both Epstein and Maxwell," Comer said.

Criminal Contempt Carries Prison Time
The contempt resolutions now head to the full House for a vote expected within two weeks.
Trump advisers Steve Bannon and Peter Navarro both served four months in prison after being convicted of contempt of Congress for defying subpoenas from the January 6 committee.
Arizona Representative Andy Biggs said the Clintons should face the same consequences.
"If the Clintons aren't perp walked, we will have failed the American people," Biggs wrote on social media.
Donalds told Newsmax he's already pressing House leadership to bring the contempt votes to the floor immediately and send them to the Department of Justice.
Attorney General Pam Bondi will appear before the House Judiciary Committee in February.
The committee will also interview Ghislaine Maxwell virtually on February 9 from her federal prison in Texas where she's serving 20 years for sex trafficking.
The full House vote will test whether Republicans can maintain the bipartisan support the committee achieved.
Negotiations with their longtime lawyer David Kendall dragged on for five months with the Clintons pushing back dates and demanding special accommodations.
Comer revealed that Kendall even raised the prospect of having the Clintons testify on Christmas, an offer clearly designed to make Republicans look unreasonable.
