Jerry Jesus Reyes sat free in Osceola County while his name cycled through ICAC files in 2016, 2021, and 2022.
Now he's in jail on twelve felony counts.
But police were stunned by what a sick Florida man filmed himself doing to young children and a dog.
– and somewhere out there, an infant is a victim.
Three Chances to Stop Him Before an Infant Was Harmed
The Osceola County Sheriff's Office Internet Crimes Against Children Unit got the call from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
Someone was using Snapchat to post child sexual abuse material – including videos of an infant.
Subpoenas came back.
Search warrants came back.
Every record pointed to the same name: Jerry Jesus Reyes, 26.
A witness confirmed it.
They recognized Reyes in photographs pulled from the Snapchat account – and they also recognized the dog in those images: a white-and-black pit bull named Lola.
Reyes wasn't just abusing children.
He was filming himself with the family dog and posting it online.
“Jerry Jesus Reyes following an investigation that uncovered videos depicting the sexual abuse of young children, including an infant, and pornographic videos involving a dog,” the police wrote in a press release. “During the investigation, a witness identified Reyes in photographs obtained from the Snapchat account,” the release continued. “The witness also recognized the dog shown in the photographs as a family pet, a white-and-black pit bull named Lola.”
He now faces twelve felony counts: nine for child pornography possession and three for videos depicting prohibited sexual activity between a person and an animal.

Under Florida law, each count of knowingly possessing child sexual abuse material is its own second-degree felony – the same classification as armed robbery.
Possessing three or more copies is considered prima facie evidence of intent to promote.
He's held without bond.
Florida Is Making Arrests – Now the System Needs to Keep These Predators Off the Streets
The system that caught Reyes is working.
NCMEC's CyberTipline received 21.3 million reports in 2025 alone – including over 61.8 million images and videos tied to suspected child sexual exploitation.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier has been running a statewide Snapchat operation for months.
Just this July, a Naples man named Chandler Christian Jones was convicted on all counts – facing a minimum of 86 years in prison – after FDLE and NCMEC tips led investigators to his door.
Uthmeier's office called out Snap directly: "Snap continues to fight us in court over their dangerous app while we keep arresting and prosecuting predators who use Snapchat to trade in vile material."
That's the machine that caught Reyes.
But Reyes was flagged in 2016, flagged again in 2021, and flagged a third time in 2022.
Between each of those investigations and Tuesday's arrest, he kept filming.
He kept uploading.
He kept finding victims.
The NCMEC tip that cracked this case open wasn't luck – it was a system built specifically to catch men like Reyes who think Snapchat's disappearing-message feature makes them untouchable.
It doesn't.
But the real question isn't how he got caught this time.
It's who let him walk after the last three.
The 2021 and 2022 ICAC investigations into Reyes happened on Monique Worrell's watch.
Worrell was the Democrat State Attorney for Orange and Osceola County – the prosecutor whose office received those ICAC referrals and decided what to do with them.
DeSantis suspended her in 2023, accusing her office of allowing "pedophiles to evade incarceration, when otherwise warranted under Florida law."
Her office had the highest rate of dropped juvenile felony cases in the state.
DeSantis replaced her.
Then, in 2024, voters sent her back.
Worrell is back in the State Attorney's office today – and the infant in those Snapchat videos is a victim for life.
The investigation is ongoing.
