A Child Exploitation Survivor Just Told Florida What James Uthmeier Did That Nobody Else Would

Oct 4, 2026

A Florida child exploitation survivor just made a campaign ad that no opposition researcher on earth can touch.

The Left has spent a year calling Uthmeier's child predator crackdown political theater.

But what a child exploitation survivor just said on camera ended that argument.

A Survivor Speaks

Her name is Kim.

She wasn't a politician, a lawyer, or a pollster.

She was a child who was exploited – and she volunteered for this.

"My name is Kim. I primarily build missing children operations," she says in Uthmeier's newest digital ad. "The work is so near and dear to my heart because, as a child, I was exploited."

Kim did not have to make this ad.

She chose to.

And what she said about Florida's Attorney General was not a talking point.

"James Uthmeier drew a hard line in Florida," Kim said. "He says, 'If you're gonna abuse children, or you think you're gonna exploit them for your own gain, do not come to Florida because you will pay the highest penalty for exploitation.'"

That is not a press release.

That is a survivor telling every parent in Florida: this one is different.

The Numbers That Back Her Up

Kim's words land because the record stands behind them.

Since Uthmeier took office in February 2025, Florida has arrested more than 2,000 people accused of preying on children – setting records for the state.

Prosecutions are up 54%.

The number of defendants charged has risen more than 30%.

And convicted predators are now being sentenced to prison at four times the rate they were before Uthmeier walked through the door.

Four times.

That is not incremental improvement.

That is a fundamental change in how seriously Florida treats the people who hurt children.

"Operation Home for the Holidays" recovered 122 missing children in a two-week window last November – what Uthmeier called the largest child rescue mission in Florida history.

A separate operation rescued more than 60 missing children in a single year through a partnership with the U.S. Marshals Service.

Combined prison sentences secured by his office since February 2025 now total nearly 693 years.

He Named the People Who Weren't Doing Their Jobs

This is the part the mainstream media skips.

Uthmeier did not just rack up numbers in friendly jurisdictions.

He showed up in Orlando and called out State Attorney Monique Worrell by name – a Soros-backed prosecutor who was declining to charge child predator cases.

One case involved a man accused of possessing and sharing child pornography depicting the rape of infants and toddlers.

Worrell passed on it.

Uthmeier's office prosecuted it.

"Florida is not a sanctuary state for criminals, and if you come after our kids, we will leave no stone unturned to hold you accountable," Uthmeier said at the time.

That is what it looks like when an attorney general actually means it.

Not every Republican has the spine to stand in front of cameras and say a fellow prosecutor is failing children.

Uthmeier did it anyway.

Why Kim's Testimony Matters

Kim said something in the ad that the press is already glossing over.

"He really does prosecute these cases. They mean something to him. He's a father first," she said.

That last part is not throwaway language.

Uthmeier has made his identity as a father – not a politician – the center of his entire law enforcement message.

His earlier campaign ad opened with the same framing: "I'm Attorney General James Uthmeier, Florida's chief law enforcement officer, but a dad first."

When a survivor who builds missing children operations says she is grateful for the sitting attorney general, that is not a manufactured endorsement.

That is the strongest possible testimony that the work is real.

Trump endorsed Uthmeier for a full term.

The Republican Attorneys General Association committed seven figures to his 2026 race.

The predators who thought Florida was a soft target found out differently.

More than 2,000 arrests and 693 combined years of prison sentences say everything Kim's testimony does – just in numbers.
