Kamala Harris has been riding a sugar high since she entered the race.
But the initial rush cannot last forever.
And a Florida lawmaker made one bold prediction about Kamala Harris she is going to hate.
Kamala Harris’ dream start is coming to an end
Vice President Kamala Harris could not have scripted a better start to her Presidential campaign.
She surged in the polls after the media became her personal cheerleading squad that flooded the zone with billions of dollars worth of positive coverage.
Kamala ducked the press and mostly avoided policy to run an empty campaign based on good feelings.
But the Presidential race is entering a new phase as more voters pay attention after Labor Day.
Kamala sat down for her first interview with CNN almost 40 days after she started running for President.
She struggled to explain why she reversed herself on so many of the far-left policies she supported now that she is the Democrat Presidential nominee.
Representative Byron Donalds (R-FL) predicted that Kamala’s house of cards would come crashing down now that the race is heating up during an appearance on Fox News’ Hannity.
“The bigger issue is – Kamala Harris has hidden from the press because she can not actually go toe-to-toe with reporters, and the American people, to question and go through her record,” Donalds said. “It is a radical record. It is a bad record for the American people.”
“I think you’re seeing the beginning of the end for this campaign,” Donalds added.
Kamala confirmed in that friendly CNN interview why her campaign has tried to keep her out of unscripted situations.
Byron Donalds notices something strange about Kamala
Donalds pointed out that there was a dramatic change in Kamala’s body language when the interview began to discuss things she was uncomfortable with.
“Forget all the things that she said, people – go back and watch her body language,” Donalds explained. “When she talked about her niece, she’s looking at Dana Bash, she’s smiling she looks relaxed.”
The Florida lawmaker said that it seemed as if Kamala was trying to remember talking points her handlers gave her in situations where she was on the defensive.
“When you ask her about her policies and flip-flopping, she looks down and seems small,” Donalds said. “She doesn’t look like she has confidence in what she’s saying, because she doesn’t believe it. She’s trying to remember what they coached her to say.”
That’s not the leadership our country needs in this pressing hour. We need Donald Trump,” Donalds added.
Kamala has been avoiding the press for an incredibly good reason.
She cannot handle unscripted situations where she is put on the spot.
Her 2020 Presidential campaign collapsed because she became more unpopular as voters saw more of her.
Kamala’s tendency to put her mouth with gaffes and nonsensical statements sank her.
But this election her handlers are keeping her out of situations where that can happen.
This year her campaign is trying to run out the clock until Election Day and hopes the media-driven momentum can carry her to victory.
