A Florida sheriff made a record bust that exposed this tragic Joe Biden failure

Joe Biden unleashed a massive crime wave on the country after opening the border.

Now states are paying the price for his colossal blunder.

And a Florida sheriff made a record bust that exposed this tragic Joe Biden failure.

Florida county makes record fentanyl bust

Fentanyl has become the biggest public health crisis in the country under President Joe Biden.

Mexican drug cartels manufacture it on an industrial scale with chemical precursors from China before smuggling it across the wide-open southern border.

The deadly synthetic opioid has become the leading cause of death for Americans aged 18-49.

And drug overdose deaths, primarily from fentanyl, have crossed the grim 100,000 per year mark for the first time during Biden’s failed Presidency.

Polk County, Florida, between Tampa and Orlando, became the latest community to see the fallout of the Biden border crisis.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office announced the largest bust in county history after four people were arrested with more than 30 pounds of fentanyl with an estimated street value of $3.5 million.

Sheriff Grady Judd said that more needs to be done to stop the flow of the drug from the southern border.

“Fentanyl is an enormous threat to Americans today. In addition to the tens of thousands who are killed by fentanyl-related drug overdoses each year, there is also great damage done to families and communities,” Judd said. “I am confident that with the arrests and seizures made during this investigation, many lives have been saved in Polk County and beyond, but more work needs to be done at the southern border to cut off the supply into the United States.”

Investigation into drug trafficking ring began last year

Federal agents with the High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area program began the investigation in August last year.

The agents specialize in fentanyl trafficking operations coming out of Mexico.

Fentanyl sent from Mexico to undercover agents began the investigation and agents began making purchases from the traffickers.

The drug traffickers were nabbed in a buy-bust set up by agents in Polk County.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement, the Border Patrol, and local prosecutors helped federal agents on the investigation.

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody (R) blamed Biden’s open border for fentanyl pouring into the country.

“Florida law enforcement continues to fight the death and destruction emanating from Biden’s border crisis,” Moody said. “The latest, the largest fentanyl bust in Polk County history—enough of this deadly poison to kill seven million Floridians.”

“These interdiction efforts save lives and while we continue to do everything we can here in Florida to stop the opioid crisis, the skyrocketing national overdose death toll will not slow down until Biden stops empowering the Mexican drug cartels and closes the border,” Moody added.

One of the suspects arrested was an illegal alien from Mexico who picked up additional felonies for resisting a police officer with violence and battery against a police officer.

Every state has been forced to deal with the fentanyl crisis because of Joe Biden’s disastrous decision to open the border.
