Teachers are entrusted by parents to watch over their children.
One bad apple created a massive scandal.
And a Florida teacher was busted after police caught her in this compromising situation.
A Florida teacher was caught at a wild party with hundreds of students
An elementary school principal and teacher were caught holding a drug and booze fueled party for more than 200 students in Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Former Saturn Elementary School principal Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan threw a party at her home for minors that her two sons advertised on social media.
The Cocoa Beach Police Department broke up the party that resembled something out of Animal House after a noise complaint from a neighbor.
Hundreds of teenagers were drinking, using drugs, and fighting at the principal’s home.
One student posted a video on social media of himself with a gun at the party.
Brevard County Fire Rescue had to treat a student who drank too much alcohol.
Saturn Elementary School teacher Karly Anderson was drunk at the party and confronted police when they arrived.
“What the f*** is wrong with them?” Anderson shouted at police as they tried to handcuff her. “Coco Beach has gone f***ing mad and nasty.”
“You know I’m a teacher, who the f*** …. who got put in that car?” Anderson ranted. “I was here hanging out at this party, I mean what the f***, what’s wrong with them?”

Teacher hangs onto her job after being busted at a student party
Anderson was charged with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and disorderly intoxication after she initially faced a felony charge.
She was allowed back in the classroom to teach because she wasn’t charged with a felony.
The release of bodycam footage resulted in Anderson being placed on administrative leave.
Brevard County School Board member, School Board Chair Gene Trent, previously dismissed the seriousness of the charges against the principal and teacher.
“When we have thousands of employees, things happen,” Trent stated. “You cannot be a parent and not have seen of, or heard of, a teenage party. I’ve read articles (about parties) that have led to students’ deaths, you know, and car crashes as they left parties. As far as I know . . . that didn’t happen here.”
A student was arrested on DUI charges near where the party was held.
Saturn Elementary School parent Ashley Fernandez said that Anderson shouldn’t be inside a classroom.
“I was livid because, honestly, the woman still hasn’t even gone to court,” Fernandez told FOX 35. “This issue hasn’t been resolved at all, and so, she has no place being inside of a school right now.”
Parents staged a protest outside the school after she was allowed to return to the classroom.
They trust government schools to be able to educate their children and keep them safe.
But the school district let a teacher who was drunk at a party with minors back into the classroom of an elementary school before the bodycam footage made it untenable to keep her on the job.
Parents can never really know who’s teaching their kids in the government school system.
