Florida McDonald’s employee attacks customer over ranch dressing

Fast food service is not what it used to be.

A 17-year-old girl asked for a side of ranch for her meal at a McDonald’s in St. Petersburg, Florida.

It was about 2:15 pm and no employees were visible to help her out.

So she decided to take matters into her own hands.

The girl went behind the counter of McDonald’s to retrieve some ranch dipping sauce.

McDonald’s employee Akeena Sampson, 31, was not about to let a customer come behind the counter of her store.

She grabbed the girl by the arm as she was walking back to eat her meal and began choking her.

The police said that the girl tried to break free, but Sampson was “choking her and taking her to the ground.”

Sampson was accused of continuing her chokehold on the girl after she was on the ground and left her with “visible injuries” on her neck and arm.

Police arrested Sampson on a charge of child abuse without great bodily harm.

The brawl over the ranch dressing was caught on McDonald’s surveillance footage, according to the St. Petersburg Police Department.

A dipping sauce of ranch dressing costs 30 cents at McDonald’s across the country.

Sampson is facing serious charges for attacking a customer over less than a dollar’s worth of a condiment.

She was released on a $2,500 bond and ordered to stay away from the teenager and the McDonald’s.

A spokesman for McDonald’s said that Sampson had been placed on leave while an investigation occurred.

“We do not tolerate violence of any kind in our restaurants,” McDonald’s said in a statement. “This individual was immediately placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation. We are assisting and cooperating with local law enforcement efforts.”

This is not the only incident of a disgruntled McDonald’s employee raging at a customer.

McDonald’s employee shoots at a customer in the drive-thru

A dispute at a McDonald’s drive-thru in Lakeland, Florida last June almost turned deadly.

McDonald’s employee Chassidy Gardner, 22, got into a dispute with customers at the drive-thru window.

The dispute began over an order that was allegedly wrong went it got physical.

Gardner threw a drink at the car after the driver reached through the window and knocked over her belongings.

“Two of the customers got out of their vehicle and opened the drive through window to throw drinks at Gardner who then armed herself with a handgun,” the Lakeland Police Department said in a statement.

She went outside the store to continue arguing with the customers when she opened fire on the car as it was leaving the McDonald’s parking lot.

There were no injuries, and the car was hit once with a bullet.

Gardner was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
