And when a scorned ex-girlfriend found her ex’s new lover, the violent ending will leave you shocked.
A bad breakup
Breakups can be tough.
Usually, one person wants the relationship, and the other does not.
Instead of parting separate ways peacefully, typically there is always one ex trying to “win back their lover.”
It never ends well.
And sometimes, things take a dark turn.
So, when Latorray Collins found herself dumped by her ex-boyfriend, she was determined to get revenge.
She was fuming mad and began obsessively texting her ex’s phone over and over, demanding he come over to her house to pick up his things, the Miami Herald reported.
The ex was clearly done with Collins and told her just to pitch his things.
But Collins would not let it go and was determined to find him.
And when she did, things escalated quickly.
A liquor store trip went wrong
As it turns out, the ex-boyfriend already had another female on the side whom he was sleeping with.
Class act.
He was done with Collins and ready to move on with his new love.
In a “fun night out,” the ex-boyfriend, his lover, and a few friends decided to meet at a liquor store before heading out on the town.
Apparently, the ex was driving his new woman’s car, and Collins knew because she was following them.
Collins called him repeatedly, but he would not pick up.
This only infuriated her more.
But instead of counting her losses and going home, she did everything she could to get his attention, including blocking the car and following them to a stoplight, the Miami Herald reported.
A shot to the head
Collins was determined to find out who the woman was with her man!
She wanted to know.
Her desperation caused her to get out of the car and begin banging on the window.
What a lunatic.
And every man’s worst nightmare.
But Collins then took things to an insane new level, pulled out a gun, and shot the female lover in the face.
Wild!
The love triangle is even more confusing, as the victim who was shot was apparently married to another man.
Bizarre.
The husband claimed his wife was “riding with her cousin” when she was shot.
But the ex-boyfriend insisted he had previously had an “intimate relationship” with the victim, First Coast News reported.
Somebody is clearly lying.
Either the man was sleeping with his cousin, or it appears like the unsuspecting husband did not know his wife was cheating on him.
Regardless of who was sleeping with whom, the result ended in a bloody mess as the woman who was shot fought for her life.
Collins was charged with attempted second-degree murder.
