A shocking new poll out of New Hampshire shows why Democrats fear Ron DeSantis running for President in 2024

Jun 23, 2022

The northeast is supposed to be a stronghold for the Democrat Party.

In 2020, even though he stayed in his basement for most of the campaign, Joe Biden won New Hampshire with nearly 53% of the vote.

And now this shocking new poll out of New Hampshire shows why Democrats fear Ron DeSantis running for President in 2024.

They say “if you’re catching flak, you must be over the target.”

Given the left-wing media’s constant attacks against Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis, they’re both clearly “over the target.”

Polls also show this to be true, as Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis are the two most popular Republicans in the country.

No other Republican even comes close to Trump and DeSantis, virtually guaranteeing that one of them will be the 2024 GOP nominee for President.

Right now, most folks agree that Donald Trump is definitely running for President again in 2024.

And while many are speculating that DeSantis is also planning a run for the Oval Office, the Governor maintains his position that his only concern is serving the people of Florida and winning reelection to a second term this fall.

Of course, the left-wing media is trying to use this to start an internal feud between Trump and DeSantis in an effort to tear them both down.

Neither Trump or DeSantis have said anything negative about each other, with both of them stating multiple times that they are friends and there is no feud.

But if DeSantis decides to run, this new poll out of New Hampshire gives them reason to be terrified, especially if Joe Biden runs for a second term.

The University of New Hampshire just released a new poll showing DeSantis leading Donald Trump by 39% to 37% in a hypothetical GOP Primary matchup.

In October, the same poll found Trump leading DeSantis 43% to 18%.

But that is not the reason for Democrats to fear DeSantis.

The poll also showed Ron DeSantis defeating Joe Biden by 47% to 46% in a hypothetical matchup.

On the other hand, Biden defeated Trump by 50% to 43% in the same poll.

Republican voters overwhelmingly said they want their candidate to be a “Trumpy candidate” and not some middle-of-the-road moderate RINO.

And both Trump and DeSantis easily meet that criteria.
