A trip to Disney landed the Secret Service in this woke scandal

The Secret Service cannot keep itself out of trouble these days.

Now, the embattled agency is in the middle of another controversy.

And a trip to Disney landed the Secret Service in this woke scandal.

Secret Service caught paying for agents to attend LGBTQ conference at Disney

More damning information keeps coming out about the Secret Service after former President Donald Trump was shot at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania on July 13.

U.S. Senator Josh Hawley’s (R-MO) office has become the place for Secret Service whistleblowers to come forward about the problems in the embattled agency.

He told Fox News host Jesse Watters that most of the agents working Trump’s security detail were not from the Secret Service.

A whistleblower told him that the Secret Service pulled in agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and put them on security duty for the Butler rally.

To prepare these HSI agents for handling Trump’s security detail, they were given a two-hour webinar to watch.

“A two-hour, online webinar. And I’m told that half the time, the sounds to the webinar didn’t even work,” Hawley said.

“So, think about this: the former president of the US…is sent out on stage, most of the people there are not trained, they’re not qualified,” Hawley explained. “They only got a webinar training and even that didn’t work.”

The Secret Service was not willing to give adequate training to the HSI agents working Trump’s security detail but the agency is ready to shell out taxpayer money for agents to attend an LGBTQ conference at Disney.

Wokeness is the highest priority at the Secret Service

RealClearPolitics reporter Susan Crabtree revealed that the Secret Service Office of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion emailed the entire agency about an all-expenses-paid training opportunity at the “Out and Equal” Workplace Summit at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The summit is “The largest LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion event in the world” according to the event’s website.

Hawley was beside himself that the Secret Service could find the money for this woke nonsense.

“You’ve gotta be kidding me. Agents assigned to Trump in Butler were only given online zoom training – but Secret Service has the resources for a DEI summit in Orlando? This is beyond outrageous,” Hawley wrote on X.

Crabtree noted that the Disney summit is going over like a lead balloon with the rank and file of the Secret Service.

“The call for nominees to attend the conference, which includes leadership plenary sessions, a ‘Night Out’ at Disney Studios, and a gala event the final night, is rankling many rank-and-file special agents and Uniformed Division officers,” Crabtree wrote.

Secret Service agents are being stretched thin with their security details during the election after security was stepped up following Trump’s near assassination.

“Many special agents and Uniformed Division officers say the call for nominees for the LGBTQ+ conference at the height of campaign season is tone-deaf when resources are stretched so thin — especially in the wake of the J13 assassination attempt against former Pres. Trump that killed Corey Comperatore,” Crabtree stated.

The Secret Service’s leadership continues to step on rakes in the aftermath of the agency’s failure to protect Donald Trump.
