The coronavirus pandemic exposed the widespread hypocrisy that exists among members of the far-left.
Several prominent Democrats have been caught violating their own COVID rules and mandates.
And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will blow a gasket over the incredible way Ron DeSantis turned Democrat hypocrisy into a campaign advantage.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis always manages to stay one step ahead of the Democrats and the corporate-controlled media.
Just recently, Ron DeSantis blasted socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez after photos emerged during the Christmas break of her dining maskless outside a martini bar in Miami.
Of course, Ocasio-Cortez adamantly supports vaccine and mask mandates.
Yet she fled to Florida – where masks and vaccine mandates are illegal – to party with her boyfriend while COVID cases surged in her home state of New York.
However, Ocasio-Cortez is not the only Democrat who fled their own COVID rules and restrictions to enjoy freedom in Florida.
Michigan Democrat Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Representative Eric Swalwell, CNN’s Don Lemon, and numerous other leftists have also been caught escaping their own lockdowns and mandates in DeSantis’ Florida.
“If I had a dollar for every lockdown politician who decided to escape to Florida over the last two years, I’d be a pretty doggone wealthy man, let me tell you,” DeSantis said at a press conference last week. “I mean, Congress people, Mayors, Governors, I mean you name it.”
But the Left will be infuriated when they see the new “Escape to Florida/The Lockdown Libs tour” t-shirt Ron DeSantis just added to his official campaign store.
On the back, underneath a list of Democrats – including the Governors of states such as Connecticut, Michigan, and New Jersey along with where in Florida they stayed – the shirt reads “We don’t blame you . . . we like freedom, too.”
Similar to a rock band tour t-shirt, the front bears the slogans “Escape to Florida” and “The Lockdown Libs Tour,” with an “Open” sign on an outline of the state.
To promote the new item, Ron DeSantis’ re-election campaign published a video on social media that includes a shot of him putting on sunglasses and saying, “Welcome to Florida.”
Of course, this isn’t the first time Ron DeSantis found a way to turn Democrat attacks into a campaign advantage.
DeSantis also sells “Don’t tread on Florida” and “Don’t Fauci my Florida” merchandise in his campaign store.
The fact that DeSantis doesn’t allow the Left’s attacks to bother him, but instead turns them into a humorous campaign advantage, is one of the many reasons why he’s wildly popular with GOP voters nationwide.
