Democrats have viciously attacked and smeared Ron DeSantis for the past two years.
But this time they crossed a major red line.
And all hell broke loose after Ron DeSantis shut down this left-wing protester with one brutal truth bomb.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is preparing to head back out on the campaign trail after taking a break to lead the state’s recovery efforts in the aftermath of Hurricane Idalia.
On Thursday, DeSantis held a press conference in Jacksonville to address rumors that the Biden administration is preparing for another round of COVID lockdowns and mandates.
DeSantis pointed to a recent school in Kentucky that had a closure over COVID and put Biden on notice that “we are not letting you get away with it again” in Florida.
The Governor made it clear that Florida residents should not be concerned about a potential COVID mandate from the Biden administration.
“And so they are trying to do this again,” DeSantis said. “And what we in the state of Florida will say is no, we are not letting you get away with it again.”
“You have a civil right in Florida now to breathe fresh air, no one can force you to muzzle yourself against your consent,” he added.
But it was toward the end of the press conference when a left-wing protester interrupted and blamed DeSantis for the recent shooting in Jacksonville.
A 21-year-old madman recently killed three black people at a Dollar General in Jacksonville before turning the gun and killing himself.
The shooter left behind a racist manifesto that said he was targeting black people.
“Speaking from the audience, an unidentified man accused DeSantis of enacting policies ‘that hurt people like myself and the people that I love,’ including his children,” The Hill reported.
The man told DeSantis that “you have allowed weapons to fill the street into immature, hateful people that have caused the deaths of the people who were murdered a few weeks ago.”
But Ron DeSantis was not about to sit there and allow a left-wing activist to essentially accuse him of murder.
“First of all, I did not allow anything with that,” DeSantis fired back. “I’m not going to let you accuse me of committing criminal activity,” he continued, adding that “I am not going to take that.”
When the heckler mentioned “his truth,” DeSantis interjected with a truth bomb that every leftist needs to hear.
“There is THE truth — it’s not everyone has their own truth,” DeSantis said. “You don’t get to come here and blame me for some mad man.”
