And now all hell is breaking loose after Ron DeSantis revealed this one disturbing truth about the media’s reporting of January 6.
The left-wing media constantly makes up lies about Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
One of their favorite tactics is to claim DeSantis is doing something that he is not doing and then brutally attack him for it.
Even though the Parental Rights in Education Bill did not even mention the word “gay” or “homosexual,” the media labeled it the “Don’t Say Gay” bill and then proceeded to attack DeSantis for allegedly waging war on the LGBT community.
The media also twisted his opposition to Critical Race Theory to claim DeSantis is trying to remove black history from the curriculum in Florida.
And now the media is accusing DeSantis of implementing a new law at the Florida State Capitol that would prevent left-wing activists from holding events or protesting on the grounds.
“The DeSantis administration now requires events held at the Florida state Capitol to ‘align’ with its mission, a recent change that is sparking concerns that the governor’s office is trying to censor events it doesn’t like,” ‘POLITICO’ wrote in a hit piece.
During a recent press conference, a journalist asked DeSantis about reports claiming Florida is changing its rules regarding who is allowed to host demonstrations and events on the Capitol grounds.
The journalist said that the new law would require events to “align” with its mission and pointed to a letter from the Department of Management Services.
“One material change to the Rule is that events must align with state agency missions and applications must come from an agency sponsor,” a Department of Management Services letter said about the rule. “Once a sponsorship has been obtained, the state agency shall submit the required application to DMS on behalf of the requestor.”
DeSantis said he also saw the report, but added that he was not involved and that “it didn’t necessarily come down from me.”
However, DeSantis said he would “imagine” that the new rule is designed to keep groups from attempting to “take over capitols.”
But then DeSantis brought up one brutal truth about the left-wing media’s bias against conservatives.
DeSantis pointed to how the media praises Democrats and leftists who engage in violent protests and insurrections.
“It’s interesting – if they’re doing that from the Left, then the media says that’s ‘democracy in action,’” DeSantis said. “They don’t say it’s an insurrection if you take over a capitol because of that.”
DeSantis said no one in his administration is trying to stifle speech like the media is claiming.
“We’ve been very supportive of people being able to speak their mind,” DeSantis said. “It’s their right,” he continued, before adding that “they should do it.”
But the Florida Governor pointed out how there is a huge difference between protesting and hijacking a building to “stop the function of government.”
“You know, you don’t have a right to hijack – and do, like, a heckler’s veto – to stop the functioning of the government,” DeSantis said. “So, I think that’s probably what it is.”

During the debate over the Parental Rights in Education Bill, crazed leftists flooded the Capitol building and chanted and yelled expletives outside the House and Senate chambers.
Despite the media’s claim, the Left are the ones who regularly engage in violent protests.
And Ron DeSantis just pointed out that brutal truth to the left-wing media.
