Dr. Joseph Ladapo was recently confirmed as Florida’s new Surgeon General.
Ladapo wasted no time ruffling feathers on the Left.
And Anthony Fauci is flipping out after Florida’s new Surgeon General made this one shocking announcement.
No Republican Governor in the country stood up to Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s COVID fascism more than Ron DeSantis.
From refusing to enforce lockdowns to banning mask and vaccine mandates, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis opposed every one of the Biden administration’s authoritarian policies.
So it should come as no surprise that Ron DeSantis nominated someone who shares his pro-freedom views to be the new Surgeon General for the state of Florida.
On his first day as Surgeon General, Dr. Ladapo appeared in a video alongside Ron DeSantis where they ripped the Left for pushing mask mandates, especially on children, calling it nothing but “COVID theater” and saying it had to stop.
But on Monday, Dr. Ladapo made one announcement that sent COVID tyrants like Anthony Fauci off the rails.
Dr. Ladapo announced that Florida would become the first state in the country to officially not recommend the COVID vaccine for healthy children between the ages of 5 and 11.
Ladapo made the announcement at a roundtable event organized by Ron DeSantis that featured a group of doctors who criticized COVID lockdowns and mandate policies.
During the discussion, the participants talked about what they called “failures” of the federal government and its agencies to properly respond to the pandemic.
But it was at the end of the discussion when Dr. Ladapo made one comment that will infuriate Anthony Fauci.
“The Florida Department of Health is going to be the first state to officially recommend against the COVID-19 vaccines for healthy children,” Ladapo said at the end of the discussion.
“We’re kind of scraping at the bottom of the barrel, particularly with healthy kids, in terms of actually being able to quantify with any accuracy and any confidence the even potential of benefit,” he added.
As expected, this infuriated the COVID tyrants in the Biden administration.
During a White House press briefing later that afternoon, Jen Psaki ripped the decision, saying it was “deeply disturbing that there are politicians peddling conspiracy theories out there and casting doubt on vaccinations when it is our best tool against the virus and the best tool to prevent even teenagers from being hospitalized.”
Of course, DeSantis is only continuing to follow the science, as the data isn’t sufficient enough to recommend the vaccine for healthy children between the ages of 5 and 11.
And his willingness to stand up for what is right even when faced with attacks and smears is why Ron DeSantis remains wildly popular among Republican voters nationwide.
