Anthony Fauci is having a meltdown over the two words Ron DeSantis used to describe him

Ron DeSantis is not afraid to speak the truth.

He’s a straight shooter who calls it exactly like he sees it.

And now Anthony Fauci is having a meltdown over the two words Ron DeSantis used to describe him.

81-year old Anthony Fauci is the highest-paid federal employee in America, making even more than the President of the United States.

Fauci’s role in the pandemic made him the most controversial political figure in America as well.

However, after more than 50 years of working in government, on Monday Anthony Fauci announced that he would be stepping down from his positions as the Director of the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), chief of NIAID’s Laboratory of Immunoregulation, and as the Chief Medical Adviser to the President.

After all of Anthony Fauci’s lies and deceptions during the pandemic, many Americans cheered the news of his retirement.

One of these Americans was none other than Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

On Wednesday, during a “Keep Florida Free” rally in Seminole County, Ron DeSantis brought up Anthony Fauci’s retirement during his speech.

“I’m just sick of seeing him,” DeSantis began. “I know he says he’s gonna retire.”

DeSantis then dubbed Anthony Fauci one nickname that sent the Left into a frenzy.

“Someone needs to grab that little elf and chuck him across the Potomac!” DeSantis said to a roaring crowd.

As usual, it didn’t take long for the left-wing media to attack DeSantis for calling Fauci a “little elf.”

In a response to a clip of DeSantis calling him a “little elf” on Twitter, CNN White House correspondent John Harwood adamantly defended the media’s darling Anthony Fauci.

“No better example of the Republican Party’s degradation than its demagogic attacks on a brilliant public servant who has spent decades working to fight ignorance and save lives with medical science,” Harwood wrote.

Of course, the reality is that Anthony Fauci’s deliberate lies and deceptions inflicted harm on millions of Americans, from children to small business owners.

Ron DeSantis ripped Fauci and his mouthpieces in the media for trying to claim that his restrictions and mandates saved lives when the opposite is true.

“You have people like Fauci saying that his lockdowns didn’t cause any permanent damage to any young kids,” DeSantis said, before adding that, “I’ve got news for you, it did.”
