Byron Donalds blew the lid off one shocking truth about Judge Boasberg that could get him removed

Democrats weaponized the courts against Donald Trump and his allies.

Now the full extent of that corruption is coming to light.

And Byron Donalds blew the lid off one shocking truth about Judge Boasberg that could get him removed.

Donalds demands impeachment over Arctic Frost scandal

Florida Congressman Byron Donalds appeared on Newsmax Thursday morning and delivered a message that sent shockwaves through Washington, D.C.

Judge James Boasberg must be impeached.

Donalds accused Boasberg of authorizing politically motivated subpoenas targeting Republican senators and Trump allies through Special Counsel Jack Smith's Arctic Frost investigation.¹

"Judge Boasberg overstepped his bounds issuing these subpoenas," Donalds said during his Newsmax appearance. "This was a wide-scale fishing expedition to penalize Republicans and diminish their political ability to win elections in 2024. That's why impeachment has to be on the table."²

The Biden-Harris Justice Department secretly spied on sitting members of Congress without proper notification under federal law.

Donalds called Arctic Frost "a political plot to stop Donald Trump" that demonstrated "the depths of corruption" within the Biden administration.³

Arctic Frost exposed as massive surveillance operation

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley released 197 subpoenas that Jack Smith issued as part of Arctic Frost.

The scope was staggering.

Smith sent subpoenas to 34 individuals and 163 businesses.³

The subpoenas demanded communications with media companies along with records of communications with White House advisors like Stephen Miller, Jared Kushner, Dan Scavino, and Lara Trump.⁴

Phone records for at least eight Republican senators were secretly seized.

Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham, Josh Hawley, Ron Johnson, and others had their cell phone metadata collected without their knowledge.⁵

Boasberg signed the subpoenas and then ordered telecommunications companies not to tell senators they were being spied on.

AT&T refused to comply with the gag order for Cruz's personal phone, determining it violated the Speech and Debate Clause of the Constitution.

But Verizon rolled over immediately and handed over records for at least 11 Republican lawmakers.⁶

This goes far beyond Watergate

Donalds said Arctic Frost made Watergate look like child's play.

"This went far beyond the Watergate scandal of the 1970s," Donalds explained during his Newsmax appearance.

When Nixon's plumbers broke into DNC headquarters, at least Democrats knew someone was targeting them.

Arctic Frost was different.

Republicans were secretly surveilled for more than a year while Jack Smith's team collected their phone records, donor information, banking records, and media contacts.

None of the 430 targets knew they were under investigation.

The subpoenas didn't focus on January 6 trespassers.

Smith built a comprehensive database mapping the entire conservative movement's infrastructure — tracking who funded what groups, which donors gave to which candidates, and how conservative organizations communicated with elected officials.

"Arctic Frost was the vehicle by which partisan FBI agents and DOJ prosecutors could improperly investigate the entire Republican political apparatus," Grassley said at a press conference. "Contrary to what [Jack] Smith has said publicly, this was clearly a fishing expedition."⁷

Republicans spent millions in legal fees just trying to comply with the broad subpoenas.

The investigation itself was the punishment.

Judge Boasberg's pattern of protecting the Deep State

Boasberg's role in Arctic Frost fits a disturbing pattern.

Chief Justice John Roberts appointed Boasberg to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court in 2014.

Boasberg served as FISA Court presiding judge from 2020 to 2021 — right when the court was supposed to be implementing reforms after the FBI's Carter Page surveillance abuses.⁸

The Justice Department Inspector General found 17 "significant inaccuracies and omissions" in every single FISA application to wiretap Carter Page during the Russia investigation.⁹

When FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith pleaded guilty to doctoring an email used in the Page surveillance application, Boasberg gave him a slap on the wrist.

No prison time.

Just 12 months probation and 400 hours of community service.¹⁰

Boasberg said the media "hurricane" around Clinesmith provided sufficient punishment for manufacturing evidence to spy on a Trump campaign advisor.

Earlier this year, Boasberg blocked Trump's use of the Alien Enemies Act to deport Venezuelan gang members from Tren de Aragua.

He ordered deportation flights turned around mid-air and forced ICE to return violent criminals to American soil.¹¹

The pattern is unmistakable — Boasberg consistently rules against Trump and protects Deep State operatives who target conservatives.

House Republicans move to hold Boasberg accountable

Texas Congressman Brandon Gill introduced Articles of Impeachment against Boasberg on Tuesday.

Byron Donalds quickly signed on as a cosponsor.

"I proudly stand with Congressman Brandon Gill and my House colleagues in impeaching radical activist Judge James Boasberg," Donalds said. "He abused his power by weaponizing the judiciary, he has committed high crimes and misdemeanors, he is unfit for office, and he should be impeached."¹²

The impeachment resolution accuses Boasberg of one count of abuse of power.

It charges that Boasberg "granted Special Counsel John L. Smith authorization to issue frivolous nondisclosure orders" as part of Arctic Frost that prevented members of Congress from learning they were being surveilled.¹³

Eleven other Republicans cosponsored the measure including Lauren Boebert, Anna Paulina Luna, Chip Roy, and Andy Biggs.

Donalds told Newsmax he's coordinating with Senator Ron Johnson on a comprehensive oversight push to "expose all of this to the American people."

"The necessary first step" is Boasberg's impeachment, Donalds said.

Senator Ted Cruz went further.

He called for both impeachment and a Watergate-style investigation into everyone who signed off on the Arctic Frost surveillance.

"We are going to get the answers of every person who signed off on this abuse of power, and mark my words, there will be accountability," Cruz declared.¹⁴

Jack Smith recently offered to testify publicly about Arctic Frost.

But Grassley said he needs all the documents first to determine whether Smith is "telling us the truth or not."

Republicans want FBI Director Kash Patel to gain control of the bureau and force the release of every Arctic Frost record.

Only then will they bring Smith in for questioning.

The full scope of Biden's weaponization of the Justice Department is finally coming to light.

Judge Boasberg played a central role by rubber-stamping Jack Smith's secret surveillance of Trump's political operation.

Now Republicans are demanding he face consequences for compromising judicial independence and participating in what amounts to the worst political spying operation in American history.
