Byron Donalds put Biden’s aides on notice with this bombshell warning about covering up his decline

Fox News star Laura Ingraham couldn’t believe what Americans had to endure for four years.

Now Republicans are demanding answers from those who kept it under wraps.

And Byron Donalds put Biden’s aides on notice with this bombshell warning about covering up his decline.

Florida Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) isn’t playing games with former Biden staffers who kept the 46th President’s mental decline hidden from the American people.

During a recent appearance on Fox News’ The Ingraham Angle, the Florida Republican made it crystal clear that Biden’s inner circle will face consequences for their role in what many view as one of the biggest cover-ups in presidential history.

"We’ve not heard much from them yet, but I will tell you that these interviews are going to be scheduled," Donalds told host Laura Ingraham. "They can come in voluntarily and sit with the committee and answer key questions, or they could be subpoenaed. That’s where this thing needs to go."

The House Oversight Committee has given Joe Biden’s doctor and four key staffers until recently to schedule transcribed interviews regarding their roles in concealing the president’s condition from the public.

This investigation could have far-reaching implications beyond just exposing the truth about Biden’s cognitive state during his presidency.

"You cannot have occur in our country what the Democrats let happen. And not just the Democrats, operatives, media personalities, all working together to cover up the fact that Joe Biden was not mentally capable, not mentally fit to run the country," Donalds stated firmly.

When Ingraham pressed about whether the committee would actually follow through with subpoenas if Biden’s team continued stonewalling, Donalds didn’t hesitate.

"As far as I’m concerned, that’s what needs to happen. The subpoenas need to go out," he declared. "Speaker Johnson, my chairman, Chairman Comer, if they don’t respond, those subpoenas need to go out immediately."

The scope of the investigation could be extensive, potentially covering Biden’s entire presidency and examining decisions made during critical moments in American history.

"I think what we’re going to end up doing is going over the breadth of his presidency because so many things are now being called into question," Donalds explained. "Did he even know about these pardons that they did on their way out the door? These preemptive pardons, did he know? What did he know around what was happening on October 7 to our ally Israel? What did he actually know?"

Donalds raised legitimate concerns about Biden’s involvement in other major policy decisions during his term.

"What was he comprehending when it was the withdrawal of Afghanistan? What about the start of the Ukraine war where Russia invaded Ukraine? What was his mental fitness and capability?" the congressman continued.

Perhaps most concerning, Donalds pointed out that Biden was isolated from most people outside his immediate circle during his presidency.

"Even during those times a couple years ago, Joe Biden was not having a lot of meetings with people outside of the small bubble in the White House," Donalds revealed. "So, as far as I’m concerned, our investigation needs to cover every year of that presidency because we have to get to the bottom of was the president actually capable of doing his job."

The implications of this investigation could potentially reach far beyond mere political embarrassment for the Democrat Party.

"If it becomes clear that he was not mentally fit, then the secondary question is, does it invalidate a lot of the orders that were issued under this administration, and potentially some legislation that was ordered — that was signed as well," Donalds concluded.

Donalds, who recently announced his candidacy for Florida governor in 2026, has positioned himself as a staunch conservative with a business background.

At a recent appearance in Sarasota, he outlined his vision for Florida’s future.

"We have the opportunity to become the financial capital of the world," Donalds told the audience at an Argus Foundation event. "When I’m done being governor of Florida, I want people to say you cannot do business in the western hemisphere without coming through Florida."

Donalds’ gubernatorial campaign received an endorsement from President Donald Trump shortly after his announcement in February.

He’s already facing potential competition, with speculation that Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis may also seek the Republican nomination.

As both a congressman investigating the Biden administration and a candidate for governor, Donalds is clearly positioning himself as a rising star in Republican politics.
