Christina Pushaw is not backing down over the term she used to describe opponents of the Parental Rights in Education Bill

Ron DeSantis has been taking arrows from the Left from the moment he signed the Parental Rights in Education Bill into law.

He’s now facing a legal battle over it.

But Christina Pushaw is not backing down over the term she used to describe opponents of the Parental Rights in Education Bill.

The Democrats and radical Left are still furious over DeSantis signing the Parental Rights in Education Bill into law.

After Disney failed to strong-arm DeSantis into dropping his support for the law, the Left is now waging a legal war against the parental rights bill.

Several couples with children in the school as well as a student just filed a lawsuit in federal court against school boards in Orange, Duval, Indian River, and Palm Beach counties.

“The complaint states that one of the plaintiffs who is a current high school student feels that bullying against LGBTQ students has escalated in his school due to Pushaw calling the legislation an ‘anti-grooming bill’ and claiming that its opponents support grooming young children,” Fox News reported.

However, just like Ron DeSantis, Christina Pushaw is not one to cower or run from the radical Left.

Pushaw also stands her ground and fights back.

And in a statement to Fox News, Pushaw ripped Democrats for attempting to sexualize young children into the transgender and homosexual lifestyle.

“Opponents of the Parental Rights in Education law, by definition, support adults talking to young children about sexuality and gender ideology while keeping these conversations secret from those kids’ parents,” Pushaw wrote.

Like most Americans, Pushaw is disgusted by the thought of adults “instructing young children about sexuality and gender theory” without parental approval.

“I cannot think of a more politically correct word for an adult who advocates for instructing young children about sexuality and gender theory while concealing that from the child’s parents,” Pushaw continued. “If there is a polite word for such behavior, I’d use it instead.”

Pushaw also blasted the Left for claiming that the legislation discriminates against the LGBT community.

The bill says that “[c]lassroom instruction by school personnel or third parties on sexual orientation or gender identity may not occur in kindergarten through grade 3 or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

The words “homosexual” or “gay” do not appear anywhere in the text of the law.

“The law says nothing about LGBTQ or any other identity – it is about protecting children and defending parental rights,” Pushaw wrote. “Floridians don’t want their kids to be exposed to subjects like gender transitioning in school, which should be a place for learning basic skills like reading, writing, and math.”

Of course, polls show Pushaw is correct.

The majority of Americans, including even Democrats, support a similar law in their own states.

And the American people are going to make Democrats pay a price for pushing their woke ideology on the country during the upcoming Midterm elections.
