Christina Pushaw resigned as Press Secretary and said five words that were bad news for Charlie Crist

Christina Pushaw spent the last 15 months serving as Press Secretary for Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

But she resigned on Friday.

And after her resignation, Pushaw said five words that were bad news for Charlie Crist.

Last week Christina Pushaw announced that she was immediately stepping down from her role as Press Secretary for the Governor’s office.

Pushaw served as Press Secretary for the past 15 months, where she gained national attention for her willingness to take on the Fake News Media in the same manner as Ron DeSantis.

As The Washington Post wrote, Pushaw “transformed the typically button-down role of gubernatorial press secretary into something like a running public brawl — with Twitter as her blunt-force weapon.”

Just like Ron DeSantis, Pushaw never shied away from left-wing media attacks.

However, as Press Secretary for the state Governor’s office, Pushaw had to hold back on some of her punches.

But in her new position as Director of Rapid Response for Ron DeSantis’ re-election campaign, Pushaw will no longer have to hold back on any punches.

“It has been a great honor to serve the people of Florida under the leadership of Governor Ron DeSantis and his administration,” Pushaw wrote in her resignation letter.

“For the last 15 months, I have been blessed to work with the most dedicated and talented public servants in the country, inspired by the Governor’s courage, leadership, and bold agenda,” Pushaw continued.

Pushaw then listed several of DeSantis’ accomplishments that she was proud to be a part of, such as “protecting the rights of citizens to earn a living, gather to worship and celebrate their life’s milestones, and raise their children free of unconstitutional mandates.”

She also praised DeSantis for “ensuring that every student is set up for a lifetime of success with his-quality education – not ideological indoctrination,” a reference to the Parental Rights in Education Bill he signed into law.

Former Deputy Press Secretary Bryan Griffin will take over for Pushaw in the Governor’s office.

In a post on social media where she shared a copy of her resignation letter, Pushaw said five words that will terrify Democrat Charlie Crist.

“Now, the gloves are off,” Pushaw tweeted Friday.

The Democrat Primary for Governor is coming up on August 23.

Congressman Charlie Crist is the odds-on favorite in the race over Agricultural Commissioner Nikki Fried.

And Christina Pushaw is about to take the gloves off on Charlie Crist in her new role as Director of Rapid Response for DeSantis’ re-election campaign.
