Democrats have spent the past two years attacking every move Ron DeSantis makes.
But Ron DeSantis is a fighter and continues to push forward with his agenda.
And CNN just revealed the real reason why Democrats are terrified of Ron DeSantis.
No Republican official has been attacked more by the Democrats and Fake News Media over the past two years than Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
It all started when Ron DeSantis refused to enforce Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s authoritarian COVID rules and restrictions.
DeSantis reopened Florida’s schools and businesses while also banning vaccine passports and mask mandates in the Sunshine State.
After turning Florida into an “oasis of freedom” during the pandemic, DeSantis then went on the offensive against the radical Left’s “woke” ideology.
DeSantis banned the teaching of Critical Race Theory in Florida’s classrooms, gave parents the ability to sue school districts who violated the law, and also banned biological males from competing in women’s sports.
But the biggest attacks launched against DeSantis came when he recently signed the Parental Rights in Education Bill into law.
Misnamed the “Don’t Say Gay” bill by the Left, the legislation simply prohibits teaching gender and sexuality to young children in kindergarten through third grade.
Walt Disney CEO Bob Chapek even attempted to strong-arm DeSantis into not signing the bill into law.
But despite all these vicious attacks for two consecutive years, Ron DeSantis is more popular with voters now than ever before.
And this is why CNN and the Left are terrified of DeSantis.
According to a recent article by CNN, DeSantis’ “polling has improved since last summer, and he finds himself as the strongest possible competitor of former President Donald Trump for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination.”
Last summer, despite “receiving a lot of negative press for standing against vaccine mandates in hospitals and mask mandates in schools,” Ron DeSantis’ approval rating “was in the high 40s among Floridians and his disapproval numbers were in the mid-40s.”
But as CNN reported, “today, DeSantis is in a considerably stronger position,” as “his approval rating in Florida has risen into the mid-50s, while his disapproval rating has dropped to about 40%.”
“Governors with approval ratings above 50% in states their party won in the previous presidential election are in an enviable position,” CNN added.
Democrats are terrified of Ron DeSantis’ rising popularity among voters nationwide.
Of course, before he can think about running for President, DeSantis must first get re-elected to another term as Governor in November.
But the latest polls show DeSantis leading both of his potential Democrat opponents by double-digits in a hypothetical head-to-head matchup.
And Ron DeSantis will likely only grow more popular and stronger as he continues to stand and lead on critical issues such as stopping woke leftists from grooming young children.
