Americans are growing increasingly concerned over skyrocketing inflation.
But Joe Biden refuses to accept any responsibility for the crisis.
And Dan Bongino nodded in agreement with the harsh accusation Ron DeSantis levied against Joe Biden.
Joe Biden’s Presidency has been a total disaster.
The border crisis is worse than ever, with record-breaking numbers of illegal aliens and dangerous drugs entering the country.
Joe Biden’s bungling of foreign policy has America facing the potential of World War III with Russia over Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.
The supply chain is breaking down, leading to a shortage of critical items such as baby formula.
And inflation is skyrocketing, with the price of everything from gas to groceries soaring in states and cities all across the country.
Of course, the Biden administration refuses to accept any blame for the crisis.
Instead, Joe Biden continues to blame skyrocketing gas prices on Vladimir Putin, referring to it as “Putin’s price hike.”
But Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is calling Joe Biden out for his disastrous leadership and placing the blame for skyrocketing inflation directly at the feet of his administration.
During a recent interview with Fox News Channel’s Dan Bongino, Ron DeSantis dropped the hammer on Joe Biden for creating the current fuel prices with his left-wing policies.
“The energy policy is intentional,” DeSantis responded to Bongino’s question about why Joe Biden is refusing to do anything to try to get a handle on the crisis.
“They are intentionally reducing our ability to produce oil and gas here in the United States,” DeSantis continued. “They will beg OPEC for more oil. They will beg Maduro for more oil. I guess Maduro’s oil isn’t global warming, but American oil is?”
DeSantis was referring to how the Biden administration ended construction on the Keystone XL Pipeline and just canceled oil and gas leases on federal lands while at the same time asking America’s enemies such as Venezuela and Iran to increase their oil production to make up for the Russian shortfall.
DeSantis then railed against Biden for his inflationary policies, pointing out how inflation is a tax on the working class.
“I mean it’s nonsense, it’s ideology, but it’s very destructive and people are getting absolutely hammered with gas prices,” DeSantis said. “And the overall inflation is attributable more than anything to Biden’s policy of printing trillions and trillions of dollars since he got in office . . . that’s a tax on every single American.”
DeSantis concluded by telling Bongino that Biden’s gas price hike is intentional, which Bongino readily agreed with.
“They are canceling oil and gas leases,” DeSantis said. “They don’t want us to be energy independent, and they don’t care if you suffer at the pump,” he concluded.
