Woke Democrats continue to try and trap DeSantis or “catch him” doing something wrong.
But they fail every single time.
And when they attempted to accuse him of acting “more like a President” than a Governor they never expected it to blow up in their face.
Democrats rail DeSantis for his Pro-Israel response
When DeSantis saw Americans trapped in Israel – and the State Department sitting on their hands to bring them home – he acted swiftly.
Ron DeSantis doesn’t wait to take his marching order from President Biden – instead he takes a commanding lead and executes well during a crisis.
But Democrats couldn’t stand the fact that DeSantis flew Americans home, so they set up a trap hoping to ensnare him.
Except it backfired big time.
Chair of the Florida Democratic Party Nikki Fried blasted DeSantis stating he was acting more like a President than Governor and accused him of violating “norms” and even possibly federal law.
DeSantis replied “My job as governor is to look after the safety and welfare of people in this state. It just so happened that a very close ally of not only the United States, but Florida was attacked viciously.”
He continued “And that left a lot of our people in a breach and they were in a difficult spot. So I think leadership is if there’s a void, you step up, and you fill the void.”
Bam!
And he’s exactly right.
DeSantis is proud to stand with Israel
Ever since Hamas terrorists launched their cowardly attack on Israel, DeSantis has been vocal about his unwavering support for Israel and their right to defend themselves.
In an interview with Fox News, DeSantis continued to stand strong in his support for Israel and defended his decision to bring home Americans.
Fox News reported “What we found after a day or two is that people were stranded. They weren’t getting help from the State Department. They weren’t getting help from the embassy there in Jerusalem. And so I did an executive order in Florida, and we were able to scramble planes and bring back mostly Floridians… [and] Americans who were stranded,” DeSantis said.
Democrats are helping DeSantis
Fried may think she’s harming DeSantis by saying he is acting more like a President than Governor – but the truth is she’s helping his campaign.
Her accusation shows exactly why America needs DeSantis to lead – as he has the ability to get things done and not sit on his hands like Biden.
In addition, DeSantis has used the opportunity to highlight how his actions are not only helping Israel, but the people of Florida too.
If Democrats are going to try and trap DeSantis – they need to try harder – because their latest attempt was a major failure.
