Big-government bureaucrats are determined to intrude yet again on the Constitutional rights of gun owners.
But it will not happen under Ron DeSantis’ watch.
And now DeSantis is ready to deliver another major victory to gun owners and both RINOS and liberals are terrified.
The Left’s war on guns
Anti-gun liberals want to ban guns.
Everywhere.
Each time a lunatic opens fire on innocent civilians, liberals blame guns.
Instead of realizing gun-free zones are actually a magnet for bad guys, or supporting the right for good guys to carry and even take out the shooter, liberals insist stricter gun laws are the only way to go.
America’s founders never intended for gun owners to have restrictions on their Constitutional right to keep and bear arms.
DeSantis agrees.
And if he gets his way, gun owners will enjoy another victory in Florida.
DeSantis is all for open-carry
A viral video on X showed a clip of the Florida Director of Gun Owners of America Luis Valdes asking Florida Sherrif Wayne Ivey asked if he supports open carry.
Without hesitation, Ivey replied, “I have from the very beginning, I got elected, I’ve always supported it, I’d love to see it come up this year in the legislature.”
“We were blessed to get constitutional carry, permitless carry, but I’ve always been for open carry, and I always will be,” Ivey added.
Ron DeSantis could not agree more.
DeSantis shared the video on X and wrote “Would be great to see it hit my desk — Florida needs to join the overwhelming majority of states and protect this right.”
The National Association for Gun Rights joined in on the debate and added “Florida is one of just five states banning open carry, alongside far-left states such as New York, Illinois, and California. It’s time Floridians have this right, and we’re glad Gov. DeSantis agrees.”

But after liberals saw DeSantis coming out in support of open carry they became hysteric.
RINOS join forces with anti-gun liberals
The Left does not want freedom-loving Americans to carry guns.
In fact, they insist America would be “safer” if certain types of guns were banned altogether.
While it is expected that anti-gun liberals will whine about pro-gun legislation, Republicans should be the ones leading the charge for gun rights.
But of course, RINO Republicans in Florida have publicly come out against open carry.
Republican Senator Ben Albritton gave a typical RINO response claiming he will oppose open carry because he claims law enforcement is against it.
Albritton said “Let me be clear about this: I’ve supported law enforcement my entire life. It’s the way I was raised. And I’ve been super consistent as a legislator to support law enforcement in Florida, and I encourage you to check that record. And I stand with them today in opposition,” Florida Phoenix reported.
Except Albritton is wrong, as Ivey clearly demonstrated his support for open carry noting other law enforcement officers felt the same.
While liberals are terrified of gun freedom RINO Republicans should be more afraid and understand if they do not support gun rights, they will get voted out of office and replaced with someone who will.
