Florida Democrats are fuming after Ron DeSantis pointed out one brutal truth about the radical Left

The last few years have been rough for the Democrat Party in Florida.

There are now more registered Republican voters than Democrats for the first time in Florida’s history.

And Florida Democrats are fuming after Ron DeSantis pointed out one brutal truth about the radical Left.

Ron DeSantis has completely transformed the political landscape in Florida during his time as Governor.

DeSantis narrowly defeated his Democrat opponent by 32,000 votes in 2018.

But from 2018 to 2022, DeSantis made a name for himself for his willingness to fight and his ability to win battles against the Democrats and woke Left.

Despite his narrow victory in 2018, DeSantis won by more than 1.5 million votes in 2022.

DeSantis’ 19-point victory turned the Sunshine State solid red and gave Republicans a supermajority in the legislature.

It also made Ron DeSantis a top contender for the Republican nomination in 2024.

On Tuesday, DeSantis released a new book called The Courage to be Free: Florida’s Blueprint for America’s Revival.

DeSantis conducted an interview with Newsweek opinion editor Josh Hammer on his podcast as part of a media tour promoting his new book.

“We’ve shown a knack for identifying the Left when they’re totally off their rocker, isolating those examples and really protecting Floridians from the Left’s worst pathologies,” DeSantis said. “People don’t have to be Republicans to appreciate that.”

DeSantis said Floridians simply want to live life the way they want “without having the Left’s agenda crammed down your throat.”

But Democrats are trying to force Floridians to embrace the Left’s woke insanity.

And because of that, DeSantis said the Democrat Party in Florida ”is basically a dead, rotten carcass on the side of the road.”

Unlike most Republicans who “are more likely to sit back when the media attacks them,” DeSantis said he likes to take the fight head on to the Left.

“We do not shirk from issues,” he said. “We leaned in across the board, whether it’s education — yes, fighting the wokeness — illegal immigration, all those different things.”

DeSantis’ book hit the top of the charts on Tuesday.

The Florida Governor is keeping his plans close to his chest.

But he is making all the moves that a would-be Presidential candidate would make at this time.
