Florida law enforcement is waging war against this scary problem from Biden-Harris

Florida is a state that stands for law and order in the face of rising crime.

The Sunshine State must clean up the mess left by the federal government.

And Florida law enforcement is waging war against this scary problem from Biden-Harris.

Florida law enforcement makes a major drug bust in a joint operation

The border crisis created by the Biden-Harris administration has left the southern border wide open.

And the Mexican drug cartels have taken full advantage of the situation.

They have flooded the country with fentanyl that is manufactured on an industrial scale in Mexico from chemical precursors from communist China.

States are being left to stop the flow of the deadly drug.

Florida has led the country in fentanyl seizures because of aggressive actions taken by law enforcement in the state.

A joint law enforcement operation in the Tampa Bay area led to the arrest of 25 people in a major drug trafficking operation.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), the Clearwater Police Department, and the Tampa Police Department worked on a months-long investigation that resulted in arrests and large quantities of narcotics confiscated.

Police seized copious quantities of cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.

Also seized were 250 pounds of precursor ingredients that could have been used with narcotics to create 500,000 counterfeit pills.

Ron DeSantis’ program is helping crackdown on fentanyl

Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody said that the bust was another sign of Florida’s success against fentanyl trafficking.

“Fentanyl is the deadliest drug we have ever faced, and we are committed to aggressively getting this dangerous substance off our streets,” Moody said. “It is no coincidence that Florida leads the nation in fentanyl seizures.”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed the SAFE (State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication) Act last year which gave law enforcement the resources to conduct large-scale investigations against drug traffickers.

“Our office supported the implementation of SAFE grant funding last year to help law enforcement keep Floridians safe from illicit fentanyl—and today we are seeing this funding in action with the arrest of 25 members of a fentanyl ring in the Tampa Bay area,” Moody stated.

FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass credited the SAFE ACT with making busts like this possible.

“Because Governor Ron DeSantis, Attorney General Moody, and our Florida lawmakers continue to support the SAFE Program, law enforcement can effectively tackle the fentanyl epidemic head on,” Massey said. “And I want to emphasize that that doesn’t happen in every state across this country.”

Funding from the SAFE Act has allowed Florida law enforcement to arrest more than 700 drug traffickers.

Moody warned that fentanyl is now showing up in “about every traditional drug that you can imagine.”

Floridians often do not realize that a drug they are taking has been laced with fentanyl.

“In my office, we refer to these as murder pills, because seven out of 10 counterfeit pills has a lethal dose of fentanyl. That’s a statistic that’s been put out by the Drug Enforcement Administration nationwide,” Moody said.

Florida is fighting back against the drug crisis that the Biden-Harris administration unleashed on the country.
