Democrats counted on soft-on-crime prosecutors letting criminals walk free.
They built their entire political machine around catch-and-release policies.
But Florida’s Attorney General just revealed one shocking number that should have Democrats panicking.
Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier just released his year-end report and the numbers tell a story Democrats don't want you to hear.
More than 1,200 child predators arrested since February.
Over 300 missing children rescued in what officials called the largest child-recovery operations in American history.
And convictions from his Office of Statewide Prosecution totaling 1,688 years behind bars.
"The accomplishments this office achieved this year are ones for the record book, and Floridians can see that we are setting the national standard," Uthmeier stated.¹

Those aren't just statistics.
Every single one of those numbers represents a child who won't be trafficked, abused, or exploited because Uthmeier's team got there first.
Alligator Alcatraz stands as monument to Trump's immigration agenda
Uthmeier made international headlines when he opened "Alligator Alcatraz" — Florida's immigration detention facility deep in the Everglades.
The facility earned him a personal thank you from President Donald Trump.
"I heard you were responsible for that choice," Trump told Uthmeier at the facility's opening. "That was a big choice. Thank you very much. Great job, James."²
A federal activist judge tried to shut it down.
She failed.
The 11th Circuit blocked her order and Alligator Alcatraz continued processing illegal aliens for deportation.
"Victory secured against activist judge who held me in contempt!" Uthmeier announced after the appeals court ruling. "The 11th Circuit not only blocked Judge Williams' order to close Alligator Alcatraz, but they blocked her from proceeding with the case until the appeal is complete."³

Democrats tried using the courts to derail Florida's immigration enforcement.
The courts told Democrats to pound sand.
Operation Home for the Holidays rescued 122 children in two weeks
Uthmeier joined U.S. Marshals in November to announce one of the largest child-rescue operations in U.S. history.
Operation Home for the Holidays recovered 122 missing children across Florida in just two weeks.
Many of them had been trafficked, exploited, and sexually abused.
"Many have been through the unthinkable," Uthmeier told Fox & Friends. "They've been exploited. They've been endangered and in the worst of cases, they've been physically, sexually abused."⁴
The rescued children ranged from 23 months old to 17 years old.
Investigators found 57 children in Tampa Bay, 29 in Fort Myers, 22 in Jacksonville, and 14 in Orlando.
Some cases tied directly to pornography operations, prostitution rings, and the drug trade.

Six adults were arrested with charges ranging from lewd and lascivious conduct to multiple sexual batteries.
"By now you should know if you come into Florida and you want to lay a finger on our kids, if you want to prey upon them, if you want to groom them, if you want to abuse them, everybody up here is coming for you with everything we've got," Uthmeier warned. "We're going to lock you up for as long as possible and where eligible for child sex battery, we will indeed seek the death penalty."⁵
Democrats scream about "compassion" while sex traffickers operate right under their noses in blue cities.

Democrats built their empire on letting criminals walk free
Uthmeier isn't just locking up predators.
He's taking apart the corrupt system that protected them.
His office filed lawsuits against Target for defrauding investors with woke activism that cost shareholders $25 billion.
He sued Starbucks for implementing illegal race-based hiring quotas.
His team went after Snap, Roblox, and Roku for failing to protect children from predators and pornography on their platforms.
He even took on proxy advisor firms that push woke ideology at shareholder meetings instead of maximizing returns.
When Microsoft tried discriminating against Christian nonprofits, Uthmeier sent them a letter.
Microsoft reversed course within days.

The American Bar Association threatened to revoke St. Thomas University Law School's accreditation for being Catholic.
One letter from Uthmeier and the ABA backed down.

Uthmeier's 2026 agenda goes even further
Uthmeier unveiled four legislative proposals he wants the Florida Legislature to pass in 2026.
First up is "Missy's Law" — mandatory bond revocation for anyone convicted of a dangerous crime.
No more activist judges letting violent criminals walk free while awaiting sentencing.
Second is Florida's Insanity Defense & Mental Health Accountability Act.
The bill replaces the insanity defense with a narrow standard that still allows mental health treatment but ensures violent criminals serve their full sentences.
"Alleging that you can't tell right from wrong should not exonerate you from a violent crime," Uthmeier explained. "Moral incapacity should only be used during sentencing to determine if someone should spend the rest of their life in prison, or in a high-security hospital."⁶
He watched a Kentucky jury acquit a man who stabbed a six-year-old child to death more than 20 times because of an insanity plea.
The killer served seven years and walked free.
"We cannot allow what happened in Kentucky to ever occur in Florida," Uthmeier vowed.⁷
Third is adding prosecutors to Florida's Special Risk Class retirement system.
These prosecutors face death threats from defendants and their associates.
Some threats carry over to their home addresses, putting their families at risk.
They deserve the same retirement benefits as other law enforcement who face daily danger.
Fourth is the Protecting Kids from Predators Pursuing Parenthood Act.
The bill expands protections to prevent registered sex offenders from adopting children or becoming surrogate parents.
Cases exist of registered offenders becoming parents through adoption or surrogacy and then sexually abusing those children.
This bill slams that door shut permanently.

Uthmeier locked up over 1,200 child predators in less than a year and rescued more than 300 missing children.
President Trump endorsed Uthmeier in October for his work building Alligator Alcatraz and protecting Florida's children.
"Under James' fearless leadership, over 1,000 CRIMINAL PEDOPHILES have been arrested, missing children have been SAVED, and our Great Members of Law Enforcement have been empowered to do their jobs and KEEP FLORIDA SAFE," Trump declared.⁸
The 2026 election will show whether Florida voters want more of Uthmeier's law-and-order approach or a return to soft-on-crime policies that let predators operate with impunity.
