There are no two Republicans more feared by Democrats than Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump.
The left-wing media was hoping to start a feud between Trump and DeSantis.
But Florida’s Lt. Governor just dropped a truth bomb on the Fake News Media about Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump.
Last week, Ron DeSantis appeared on an episode of the “Ruthless” podcast where he blasted Anthony Fauci for imposing economy-crushing lockdowns on the country back in March of 2020, when Donald Trump was still the President.
For months, the corporate-controlled media has tried to start a feud between Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis.
Leftists journalists immediately twisted DeSantis’ comment into a full-throated attack against then-President Donald Trump.
The New York Times even published an op-ed titled, “Who is King of Florida? Tensions Rise Between Trump and a Former Acolyte,” that claimed “a spat over COVID has exposed friction between the former president and a rising G.O.P. governor unwilling to curb his ambitions.”
But that was all a lie.
And during an interview Tuesday on Fox Business Channel, Florida’s Lieutenant Governor, Jeanette Nuñez, set the record straight about whether or not Trump and DeSantis were internally feuding with each other.
“It’s a media obsession because they want to detract from what is really affecting individuals,” Nuñez told host Stuart Varney. “That made-up animosity is not what’s affecting individuals.”
“So I think it’s just a distraction to take away from the real issues,” Nuñez added.
When pressed further by the host, Nuñez refused to comment on what would happen if Donald Trump and Ron DeSantis both ran for President in 2024, saying that “we’re focused on 2022 exclusively, running for re-election.”
Of course, when asked about a 2024 Presidential run, Ron DeSantis has always said that his only focus is on winning re-election as Governor in November.
And Donald Trump also hasn’t attacked DeSantis, instead saying that he believes DeSantis won’t run in 2024 if he decides to run for President for a third time.
Right now, polls show Ron DeSantis is in the driver’s seat for an easy re-election this November.
But the Democrats and corporate-controlled media fear DeSantis and Trump.
And they will certainly continue to try to drive a wedge between the two by spreading fake news articles claiming Trump and DeSantis are internally feuding with one another.
