Ron DeSantis has raised more than $115 million for his re-election efforts.
Now his campaign is putting the money to good use.
And George Soros was fuming after Ron DeSantis made this surprising announcement.
Billionaire George Soros funds numerous left-wing groups that operate in states and cities all across America.
Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson even admitted that “Soros has more influence over the way Americans live their lives than all the voters in your average Congressional district combined.”
But George Soros may have finally met his match in Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Lakestar Finance, an investment group linked directly to George Soros, recently formed The Latino Media Network, a new network of 18 Hispanic radio stations across 10 different markets.
The venture is headed up by former staffers for both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
With polls showing more and more Hispanic voters are switching to Republican, George Soros is hoping to use his new media network, which will have “access to one-third of the Hispanic population,” as a major outlet for left-wing propaganda.
Florida has one of the largest percentages of Hispanic voters in America.
Governor Ron DeSantis is pushing back against Soros by purchasing an ad buy on two Miami radio stations being acquired by his new left-wing media conglomerate.
“Governor Ron DeSantis is taking [on] Soros on his own turf with a Spanish language ad buy on the Soros network, serving as a PSA to Hispanic Floridians to warn of the pro-socialism, radical agenda behind The Latino Media Network,” read a statement the DeSantis campaign provided to Fox News Digital.
In the ad, Ron DeSantis calls out George Soros by name, warning Hispanic voters that the Left is trying to turn America into the same type of socialist nation many of them escaped from.
“Warning, voters! The Left is taking control of our local media,” the translated version of the ad says. “Billionaire George Soros, known for financing extreme leftist causes, is now financing the purchase of Hispanic radio stations right here in Miami.”
“They are coming with their ideological agenda,” the ad continues. “Soros and his minions know what this community represents in the fight against socialism in America. This community will not get confused. Under Governor Ron DeSantis’ leadership Florida is standing against the corporate media and leftist disinformation.”
An Axios/Ipsos poll showed that Ron DeSantis’ standing has increased seven percent among Hispanic voters since December.
George Soros was hoping to change this trend by buying up Hispanic radio stations across America.
But Ron DeSantis is using the more than $115 million he’s raised for his re-election effort to sound the alarm and make sure Hispanic voters in Florida know the truth about George Soros.
“The Soros-funded radical Left is running a scheme to manipulate local media in Florida to push their Marxist agenda on voters,” DeSantis said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “In Florida, we reject the professional Left and their attempt to infiltrate our state and will always stand for truth and freedom.”
