In-N-Out Burger was forced to close because of this colossal blunder by Gavin Newsom

Californian was once the embodiment of the American dream.

Decades of Democrat mismanagement have turned it into a socialist nightmare.

And In-N-Out Burger was forced to close because of this colossal blunder by Gavin Newsom.

Iconic fast-food restaurant In-N-Out Burger was forced to permanently close a store for the first time in the company’s history in Oakland, California.

The Oakland location was profitable but In-N-Out closed the store because of rising crime and threats toward customers and employees.

“We have made the decision to close our In-N-Out Burger location in Oakland, California, due to ongoing issues with crime,” In-N-Out chief operating officer Denny Warnick said in a public statement. “Despite taking repeated steps to create safer conditions, our Customers and Associates are regularly victimized by car break-ins, property damage, theft, and armed robberies.”

Oakland, like many cities in California, is in the middle of a crime wave after electing a prosecutor backed by globalist billionaire George Soros.

“This location remains a busy and profitable one for the company, but our top priority must be the well-being of our Customers and Associates — we cannot ask them to visit or work in an unsafe environment,” Warnick added.

The Oakland Police Department’s crime statistics show that robberies increased by 38% in the area and burglaries jumped by 23%.

Security guards who protected the Oakland In-N-Out location said that the store faced five break-ins on a “regular” day.

In-N-Out stores in California managed to survive draconian pandemic lockdowns but the rising crime in Oakland was too much.

Rep. Kevin Kiley (R-CA) put the blame on California Governor Gavin Newsom for the iconic chain being forced to close in Oakland.

“In-N-Out is closing its Oakland location because of out-of-control crime,” Kiley said in a statement. “This is Gavin Newsom’s ‘model for the nation.’”

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis hammered Newsom over crime during their November Fox News debate.

Newsom laughably claimed that crime was at a 50-year low in the state despite FBI crime statistics showing that California’s violent crime rate is above the national average and Florida’s.

DeSantis tried to get In-N-Out to open locations in Florida in 2021 after San Francisco temporarily closed a location because the company would not check for proof of vaccination from its customers.

The chain said it refused to become the “vaccination police for any government.”

DeSantis and In-N-Out owner Lynsi Snyder-Ellingson spoke on the phone about opening locations in Florida or relocating the company’s Southern California headquarters.

She turned him down at the time but the deteriorating situation in California could get Florida a second look.
