Ron DeSantis took a lot of arrows during the pandemic for his willingness to stand up for freedom.
But his bold decisions continue to be proven correct.
And now Israel just made one major decision that put a big smile on Ron DeSantis’ face.
Ron DeSantis set himself apart from other Republican leaders across the country by standing up to Joe Biden and Anthony Fauci’s COVID tyranny.
When other states shut down schools and forced businesses to close, Ron DeSantis kept Florida open.
He also banned masks and vaccine mandates in the Sunshine State.
Ron DeSantis’ willingness to stand up for freedom made him a villain of the radical Left.
Democrats, members of the Biden administration, and the Fake News Media attacked DeSantis almost every day during the pandemic over his pro-freedom policies.
They warned of dire consequences for the people of Florida if Ron DeSantis refused to cave in and enforce lockdowns and mandates.
Of course, with the pandemic mostly over, Ron DeSantis’ pro-freedom policies have been proven successful time and time again.
The economy is one of the areas where Floridians are benefiting from Ron DeSantis’ pro-freedom policies the most.
Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis recently issued a report showing that Florida’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) massively outperforms the United States as a whole in virtually every sector.
During the first quarter of 2022, more than 36 million people also visited the Sunshine State.
Americans are also fleeing states with COVID tyranny and moving to Florida in droves, with 211,000 people moving to the Sunshine State last year alone.
The latest data also shows a massive number of people are leaving New York permanently to live in Florida.
But it’s not just people that are escaping Democrat-run areas and moving to DeSantis’ “oasis of freedom.”
Businesses are also relocating to Florida from California and New York.
And on Wednesday, Ron DeSantis announced that Israel was moving the headquarters of its national airline, El Al, from New York City to Broward County, Florida.
“Israel’s decision to move El Al airlines from New York City to South Florida is the latest example of Florida’s leadership in business expansion and international travel,” DeSantis tweeted.
“We are proud to be the hub for international tourism.”

According to reports, airline officials decided to relocate to South Florida after vetting the area for religious facilities, schools, and accessibility to talent within the aviation industry.
“I sat in on the meetings. I watched this morph into an amazing dialogue and partnership,” Broward County Mayor Michael Udine said. “The El Al people really loved what we had to offer.”
With inflation skyrocketing and the economy teetering on the brink of collapse thanks to Joe Biden’s disastrous Presidency, Ron DeSantis’ pro-freedom policies are setting Floridians up to weather the storm much better than the rest of the country.
And this is one reason why Ron DeSantis’ approval ratings are so high in the Sunshine State.
