Jay Jones got caught sending one message to a Republican colleague that has Democrats in panic mode

The radical Left loves to lecture America about "dangerous rhetoric" and "threats to democracy."

They spent years claiming President Trump was inciting violence with his strong language about defending America.

And Jay Jones got caught sending one message to a Republican colleague that has Democrats in panic mode.

Virginia Democrat’s violent fantasies exposed in shocking text messages

Virginia Democrat attorney general nominee Jay Jones thought he was having a private conversation when he sent text messages to Republican Delegate Carrie Coyner in August 2022.

Those messages have now been leaked – and they reveal the true face of the radical Left’s approach to political opponents.

Jones didn’t just disagree with then-House Speaker Todd Gilbert, a Republican.

He fantasized about murdering him.

"Three people, two bullets," Jones wrote to Coyner. "Gilbert, hitler, and pol pot. Gilbert gets two bullets to the head."

Jones made it clear this wasn’t just a momentary lapse in judgment.

"Spoiler: put Gilbert in the crew with the two worst people you know and he receives both bullets every time," he added.

The messages didn’t stop there.

Jones told Coyner he would "go to their funerals to p*** on their graves" and questioned whether Gilbert and his wife were "breeding little fascists."

When Coyner tried to steer the conversation away from violent rhetoric, Jones doubled down with a chilling response: "Only when people feel pain personally do they move on policy."

Democrat Party shows its true colors by defending Jones

Here’s what should have happened the moment these messages became public: every Democrat leader in Virginia should have called on Jones to withdraw from the race immediately.

Instead, they’re making excuses and rallying around him.

Virginia Senate Majority Chair Mamie Locke and state Senate President Pro Tempore Louise Lucas issued a joint statement condemning the remarks but refusing to call for Jones to drop out.

House Speaker Don Scott called the fallout over the messages a "distraction" and told supporters to "stay focused."

Even Senator Tim Kaine defended Jones, saying he’s "still a supporter" of his candidacy despite the "indefensible" comments.

The Virginia Beach Democratic Committee went so far as to invoke Bible verses, saying "let those without sin cast the first stone."

This is the same party that demanded Republicans be held responsible for every word they’ve ever spoken.

The same party that claimed conservative rhetoric was responsible for political violence.

Now they’re protecting a candidate who literally fantasized about executing his political opponents.

High stakes for Virginia conservatives

The timing makes Jones’s violent fantasies even more disturbing.

Congressman Byron Donalds put it perfectly: "The radical left has no problem with political violence. They have no problem with dehumanizing their opponents."

Florida GOP Chairman Evan Power connected the dots: "We just witnessed the assassination of Charlie Kirk, a conservative targeted for his beliefs. Words have consequences, and Jones’ violent fantasies have been exposed."

President Trump and Vice President JD Vance have both called on Jones to withdraw from the race.

Governor Glenn Youngkin described the messages as "beyond disqualifying."

Even some Democrats like Joe Scarborough admitted Jones should "probably be forced to drop out the race."

Democrat hypocrisy reaches new depths

The Democrat Party spent the Trump years claiming they were the adults in the room.

They positioned themselves as the party of civility and moral clarity.

They demanded accountability for any conservative who used strong language about political opponents.

Now they’re defending a candidate who fantasized about shooting Republicans in the head.

Congressman Byron Donalds nailed it: "It demonstrates the lack of moral clarity in the Democrat Party. If you can’t get somebody out of a race who wished that a political rival would die. This is nuts."

The Republican Party of Florida issued a direct challenge to Virginia Democrat leaders: "Will you condemn these disgusting remarks and violent rhetoric, or will you quietly support them with your silence?"

Their silence speaks volumes.

They care more about winning elections than protecting the safety of conservatives.

This isn’t just about one disturbed candidate – it’s about a party that has lost its moral compass entirely.

Jones is still in the race, with early voting already underway in Virginia.

The Democrat establishment is betting they can ride this out and still win in November.

Virginia conservatives have a chance to send a message that violent rhetoric has consequences.

The choice couldn’t be clearer.
