Joe Biden has said from the getgo that he is running for reelection because he is the only Democrat who can defeat Donald Trump.
But that was before Ron DeSantis entered the race.
And Joe Biden just slipped up and revealed how terrified he is to face Ron DeSantis in 2024.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis put all speculation about his plans to bed on Wednesday when he announced his Presidential campaign in a Twitter Space hosted by Elon Musk.
Most Presidential candidates make their announcement at a rally in front of a large audience of supporters.
But Ron DeSantis charted a new path by becoming the first candidate to announce a Presidential run exclusively on a social media platform.
However, the attempted campaign launch on Twitter suffered from several technical difficulties that interfered with the announcement.
Apparently, Joe Biden was focused on Ron DeSantis’ announcement.
Within minutes of DeSantis facing technical difficulties, Biden took a swipe at him in a post on social media.
“This link works,” Biden tweeted above a link to contribute to his Presidential campaign.
But that was just the beginning of Biden’s attacks on DeSantis.
Biden followed up his first post with a video that attempts to portray DeSantis as a radical extremist who is off his rocker.
“No matter what happens, you can hear Ron DeSantis’ agenda loud and clear,” Biden wrote in a post where he shared the attack video.
The video begins by hitting DeSantis for signing a bill that bans abortion after six weeks in Florida.
It then shows an old clip of DeSantis in Congress where he says “I would embrace proposals like Paul Ryan offered.”
But it’s the last few seconds that show how truly terrified of DeSantis Biden really is.
The ending of the video is edited to make DeSantis look like a nutcase to voters.

Biden launched an attack on DeSantis within moments of his official announcement.
The fact that Biden followed up with a prepared attack ad proves that Democrats are concerned about facing DeSantis next year.
