Joe Biden Released This Haitian in 2022 and a Florida Mom Paid for It With Her Life

Apr 10, 2026

Biden turned a Haitian man with a deportation order into a protected resident of Fort Myers, Florida.

Then that man came back with a hammer .

And what he did to Nilufar Yasmin on a Thursday morning is something you won't be able to unsee.

Biden Caught Him at the Border, Released Him, Then Blocked His Deportation Order

Rolbert Joachim crossed the border illegally in August 2022.

The Border Patrol caught him.

The Biden administration released him anyway.

A federal immigration judge then issued a final order of removal – meaning the government had already decided Joachim needed to go.

Biden's DHS stepped in and granted him Temporary Protected Status, shielding him from that deportation order.

That TPS expired in 2024.

At 7:14 a.m. on April 3, 2026, Joachim walked into the Chevron parking lot on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Fort Myers with a hammer.

He smashed the windshield of a car – Nilufar's car.

She was a 51-year-old mother of two daughters, 16 and 20.

She had worked at that gas station for three months.

She had come in that morning after prayers.

When she walked outside to confront him, Joachim struck her in the head.

She went down.

He hit her six more times.

Fort Myers police – with ICE assistance – found Joachim hours later on Mango Street.

He is now in Lee County Jail with no bond and a federal detainer waiting.

DHS Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis didn't mince words: "This illegal alien barbarically hit this woman in the head multiple times with a hammer. This heinous murderer was RELEASED into the country by the Biden administration. Not only did the Biden administration release him into the country, but they then gave him Temporary Protected Status. Their reckless immigration policies cost this woman her life."

Laken Riley. Nilufar Yasmin. The Biden Catch and Release List Keeps Growing.

The House Judiciary Committee reviewed Biden's TPS program and found what should alarm every American: the TPS population nearly quadrupled under Biden – adding more than one million illegal aliens in four years.

More than 91 percent of Haitian TPS recipients had either entered the country illegally, been paroled in without proper vetting, or provided the government little to no information about how they got here.

Joachim is that policy wearing a human face.

The same catch-and-release machine that produced Joachim also produced Jose Ibarra – a Venezuelan national caught jumping the border in 2022, released the same day, handed a work permit despite a New York arrest, and ultimately convicted of murdering Laken Riley, a 22-year-old nursing student, on the University of Georgia campus.

And the Honduran national Biden granted TPS to in 2024 – despite a criminal record – who is now charged with repeatedly raping his 12-year-old grandniece.

The mechanism behind Joachim's case is always the same: Border Patrol catches them, Biden releases them, a judge orders removal, Biden overrides it, and someone ends up dead.

Democrats call it a coincidence.

It isn't.

The Biden administration used TPS as a back door to permanent amnesty – a way to launder illegal parolees into protected residents who couldn't be touched by immigration courts.

The House Judiciary Committee called it exactly what it was: de facto mass amnesty, engineered specifically to make it impossible for the incoming Trump administration to remove people Biden had no legal right to keep.

Think about that.

Biden spent his final years in office not governing – but building a legal minefield to protect over a million people from accountability.

Nilufar Yasmin paid for that minefield with her life.

She came to America, raised two daughters, showed up for the early shift, and died because a man who had a federal deportation order in 2022 was still walking free in Fort Myers in 2026.

ICE and Fort Myers police caught Joachim the same day.

That's how it works when you let them do their jobs.

Trump made that happen.

Biden made the murder happen.
