Joe Biden is doubling down on his authoritarian vaccine mandate.
Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis is fighting back.
And Joe Biden threatened Ron DeSantis with something that will leave you up in arms.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis and Texas Governor Greg Abbott are leading the charge against Biden’s coronavirus vaccine mandate.
Ron DeSantis previously signed legislation banning vaccine passports in Florida while Greg Abbott just issued an executive order banning private and public sector employees from enforcing Biden’s mandate.
Last week, Governor DeSantis showed he was serious about stopping Biden’s mandate when he fined Leon County more than $3.5 million dollars for violating the law he signed in May banning vaccine passports.
“No one should lose their job because of COVID shots,” declared DeSantis in a social media post announcing the fines.
DeSantis then turned his attention to the Biden administration, vowing to take legal action against Joe Biden’s unconstitutional vaccine mandate.
“Let’s not have Biden come in and effectively take away — threaten to take away — the jobs of people who have been working hard throughout this entire pandemic,” began DeSantis.
DeSantis then said he was “offended” by Joe Biden trying to force police officers out of work, adding that Florida will do “whatever we need to do to protect Floridians from mandates that could result in them losing their jobs.”
Apparently, DeSantis’s threat infuriated Joe Biden.
And during a recent White House press briefing, Jen Psaki warned DeSantis that his efforts were doomed to fail because “federal law overrides state law.”
Psaki then ripped DeSantis for supposedly “putting politics ahead of public health,” snarkily asking “why would you be taking steps that prevent the saving of lives that make it more difficult to save lives across the country or in any state?”
Psaki then essentially claimed that there was no way Ron DeSantis could stop Joe Biden from enforcing his vaccine mandate in Florida.
“Bottom line is, we’re going to continue to implement the law, which the president of the United States has the ability, the authority, the legal authority to do,” threatened Psaki.
