The assassination of Charlie Kirk just days ago reminded everyone that the threats against President Trump and his allies are real and growing.
But it’s not just organized political violence that keeps the Secret Service busy at Mar-a-Lago.
And Mar-a-Lago security stopped one delusional woman who’ll make you question what else they’re dealing with.
Delusional woman insists she married President Trump
Christy Renee Kimbrell had one problem when she showed up at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday afternoon demanding to see her "husband."
She’s not married to Donald Trump – Melania is.
The 49-year-old woman approached the security gate around noon, telling Secret Service agents she needed to deliver a letter to the President and wanted to meet with him personally.
When agents asked for identification, Kimbrell claimed she didn’t have any but insisted her name was now "Christy Renee Trump."
She told officers she had recently changed her last name because she and the President had gotten married.
The only problem? Trump was halfway across the Atlantic at that moment, flying to London with his actual wife Melania for a state visit with King Charles III.
Secret Service agents immediately recognized Kimbrell from previous encounters and confirmed she had already been warned to stay away from the property.
This wasn’t her first attempt at playing house
Here’s where it gets really disturbing.
Kimbrell has been pulling this same act for months, and each time she gets bolder about her delusions.
Back in May, she started calling Mar-a-Lago security and Palm Beach Police repeatedly, asking how she could access the property.
On May 18, she showed up claiming to be "Christy Trump" and told police she was heading home to Mar-a-Lago since she was married to the President.
Two days later, she had an Uber driver drop her off at the Bath & Tennis Club just south of Mar-a-Lago.
When security confronted her, Kimbrell told Secret Service agents that President Trump had personally told her to "come back home."
That’s when she got her first written trespassing warning, since the tennis club sits within the federal security zone around Trump’s estate.
The security nightmare never ends
Look, this woman clearly has serious mental health issues and needs help.
But here’s what should worry every American who supports President Trump.
This is just one person – one delusional individual who thinks she’s married to the President.
Imagine what else the Secret Service and local police are dealing with on a regular basis that never makes the news.
Remember, Charlie Kirk was just assassinated at a university speaking event less than two weeks ago by a left-wing radical who thought killing conservatives was justified.
Now you’ve got mentally unstable people showing up at the President’s home claiming to be family members.
The threats are coming from all directions – organized political assassins, lone wolf attackers, and delusional stalkers who’ve completely lost touch with reality.
And that’s just what we know about.
Judge orders mental health evaluation
The good news is that Mar-a-Lago security worked exactly as it should.
Secret Service agents recognized Kimbrell immediately, Palm Beach Police responded quickly, and she was arrested without incident.
She’s being held on $10,000 bail in Palm Beach County Jail on a misdemeanor trespassing charge.
When she appeared before a judge Wednesday, he ordered her to have no contact with President Trump, Mar-a-Lago, or Trump International Golf Club.
The judge also mandated that Kimbrell get a mental health evaluation within 30 days and prohibited her from using alcohol or illegal drugs.
But think about this – one source indicates court records suggest Kimbrell may be homeless.
If that’s accurate, a homeless woman with obvious mental health problems somehow keeps finding ways to get to one of the most secure properties in America.
If she can keep showing up, what about people with actual resources and real malicious intent?
The broader security picture gets scarier every day
This arrest happened just as Trump was traveling to London for meetings with British royalty.
The timing isn’t lost on anyone paying attention.
While the President was conducting important diplomatic business overseas, his security team back home was dealing with another unstable individual trying to breach his property.
And this comes after other security incidents this year, including a man who jumped a wall at Mar-a-Lago just two days after Trump’s inauguration in January.
The pattern is clear – the threats against President Trump aren’t slowing down, they’re escalating.
You’ve got professional political assassins like the one who killed Charlie Kirk.
You’ve got delusional stalkers like Kimbrell who think they have personal relationships with the President.
And you’ve got who knows what other kinds of threats that never make it to the press.
The Secret Service deserves credit for stopping this woman before she got anywhere near the President.
But the bigger question is how many more Christy Kimbrells are out there – and what happens when one of them turns out to be more than just delusional?
