Miami residents are on edge after a boat brought them one scary problem

Feb 4, 2025

Miami residents thought they were immune to one disaster Joe Biden created.

But they learned the hard way that he devastated all 50 states.

And Miami residents are on edge after a boat brought them one scary problem.

Chinese illegal aliens busted in Miami after being smuggled by boat

Illegal immigration is a problem that is typically associated with the southern border.

Florida’s vast coastline makes the state ripe for human traffickers to bring illegal aliens in by boat from the Caribbean.

Police in Coral Gables, Florida, a wealthy suburb of Miami, busted two vans that were carrying more than 20 illegal aliens from China and elsewhere.

Four human smugglers from Cuba and one from Haiti were arrested by the police.

Police found firearms on the suspects.

Coral Gables police found three more illegal aliens from Ecuador and Brazil in a car that was accompanying the vans.

The illegal aliens were dropped off by a boat in a secluded area filled with mangroves near the city’s coastline.

Authorities suspect the illegal aliens paid a human smuggler in the Bahamas.

One of the Cubans told police he had been paid $5,000 to pick up the illegal aliens after they made it ashore.

Second major bust of Chinese illegal aliens in Coral Gables this year

Coral Cables residents were shocked at the bust in the wealthy community.

“It’s really surreal to have this so close to home,” an anonymous Coral Gables woman told NBC Miami. “Everyone was just kind of shocked that it was happening right by our house, because we live on a really tiny street that nobody really remembers exists, you know, so pretty wild.”

Less than two weeks earlier, police discovered 21 illegal aliens from China in a U-Haul van and Toyota SUV.

A security guard for a homeowners association tipped the police after seeing someone being abducted from a home and thrown in the back of the van.

The illegal aliens in both instances were turned over to the Border Patrol.

Coral Gables Police Chief Ed Hudak suspected that the two incidents could be connected.

“They came ashore basically in the same area, the two vans went in two different directions,” Hudak said. “I can’t definitively say they’re connected but this is one of those things where it was very very similar to what we had two weeks ago.”

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Special Agent in Charge in Miami John Vecchio said the state was ready to tackle illegal immigration head-on.

“There is no place for human smuggling in the city of Coral Gables, much less the state of Florida,” Vecchio said. “We must target illegal immigration head-on, using our experienced state and local agencies.”

The number of illegal aliens entering the country from China surged under former President Joe Biden.

More than 30,000 illegal aliens from China were apprehended at the border in the last fiscal year.

That is an increase from fiscal year 2021 where only 342 were encountered.

President Donald Trump had the Coast Guard surge assets to Florida to prevent illegal aliens from entering the state by ship.

Biden created a border crisis that made everywhere in the country vulnerable to illegal immigration.
