MSNBC just put lives at risk to spite Ron DeSantis with this disgusting move

Most Republican officials will quickly back down when attacked by the media.

But Ron DeSantis became a rock star in the Republican Party in large part because of his willingness to stand up to the news media.

And MSNBC just put lives at risk to spite Ron DeSantis with this disgusting move.

Florida residents are bracing for the impact of Hurricane Idalia, which is expected to make landfall as a Category 3 storm in the Big Bend region of the state Wednesday.

Weather experts are predicting wind speeds to reach 125 mph.

Governor Ron DeSantis placed his Presidential campaign on pause in order to lead the disaster preparations for the storm.

DeSantis has held several press conferences each day this week to update Florida residents on the approaching hurricane.

“Tuesday afternoon, DeSantis announced more than one million gallons of fuel are on standby to help with any fuel disruptions in light of the storm’s impacts,” FLVoice reported. “He warned that tree debris will be a much larger problem because of the region of impact, compared to Hurricane Ian, which hit more densely populated Fort Myers and Southwest Florida.”

DeSantis warned residents to expect “nasty weather” to begin Tuesday night and urged them to remain “vigilant” in case of changes in the forecasted track.

Fox News Channel and the Weather Channel are dedicating coverage to DeSantis’ press conference to help make sure as many Florida residents as possible have the information needed before the storm makes landfall.

Even CNN aired DeSantis’ press conference on its network.

But the left-wing activists at MSNBC apparently despise Ron DeSantis more than they care about saving innocent lives in Florida.

DeSantis Press Secretary Jeremy Redfern called out MSNBC in a post on social media where he showed a screenshot of the network covering Trump’s trial instead of the Governor’s emergency press conference.

And in a rare gesture, Redfern thanked CNN for “taking the threat of Hurricane Idalia seriously.”

“I’d like to thank @FoxNews, the @weatherchannel, and @CNN (yes, even CNN) for taking the threat of Hurricane Idalia seriously,” he wrote on X. “@MSNBC, it’s disgraceful that you’re not concerned about your viewers in Florida.”

Media outlets like Fox News and even CNN are putting politics aside ahead of the Hurricane’s expected landfall Tuesday night.

But the partisans at MSNBC only care about helping Joe Biden wage lawfare against Donald Trump.
