One Florida man made an awful prayer request for Donald Trump that he instantly regretted

Donald Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris sent shockwaves throughout the American Left.

Just the thought of Donald Trump serving four more years as President was too much for many Democrats to handle.

And one Florida man made an awful prayer request for Donald Trump that he instantly regretted.

Donald Trump’s landslide victory over Kamala Harris will go down as one of the greatest political comebacks in U.S. history.

Despite years of witch hunts, lies, and lawfare, Donald Trump still took every swing state and won the popular vote.

He also survived two assassination attempts.

During his inaugural address, Trump said that “I felt then and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason,” before adding that “I was saved by God to make America great again.”

After the assassination attempts against his life, police take any threats against Donald Trump seriously.

On January 19, police received a tip about threats made against President Trump online by 46-year-old Shannon Atkins.

A detective was assigned to the case the following day and quickly discovered Atkins’ post on Facebook.

“America needs one good bullet to be saved,” Atkins allegedly wrote on Facebook the day before Trump was inaugurated. “Lincoln, JFK, Reagan, Martin Luther King, and Trump,” he continued. “Unfortunately, one is still alive.”

He also prayed for Donald Trump’s death.

“Bullets, please. Please, Jesus! Save America,” he wrote over an image of a meme calling inauguration day a “day of mourning.”

After probable cause was established, the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) conducted surveillance on Atkins and learned that he owns two residences in West Palm Beach.

The police pulled Atkins over for a traffic stop on January 24 near his home.

During his interrogation, Atkins admitted that he made the posts on Facebook about Donald Trump.

But Atkins claimed that he was only joking around.

Not only that, but the Left is defending Atkins by claiming that he was targeted due to his race and sexuality.

“This appears to be a deliberate effort to silence the Black community—a well-organized attempt to make an example out of Shannon,” Bryce Graham, 2nd Vice President Of The National Action Network Central Florida Chapter, told reporters.

However, Chief Tony Araujo said there was nothing humorous about his posts.

“In today’s climate, you really can’t say things like this,” he said. “We have incident after incident, example after example of when these threats become real. And we take these very seriously,” he continued. “I want to tell the general public that they’re our partners – our eyes and ears, and we encourage you to report anything suspicious to the FBI, Crime Stoppers, or the free safe watch app we have.”

Atkins was charged with one count of making written or electronic threats to kill, cause bodily harm, or commit an act of terrorism.

He also faces a drug possession charge after police found cocaine in his vehicle.

Atkins is currently being held at the Palm Beach County jail without bond as the Secret Service figures out whether he should face federal charges.

DeSantis Daily will keep you up-to-date on any new developments in this ongoing story.
