One Florida sheriff just sent violent protesters a message they’ll never forget

The radical Left has been escalating their attacks on law enforcement across the country.

But one Florida sheriff isn’t having any of it.

And this one Florida sheriff just sent violent protesters a message they’ll never forget.

Brevard County Sheriff draws a line in the sand

Sheriff Wayne Ivey of Brevard County, Florida made it crystal clear that his deputies won’t be sitting ducks for violent agitators looking to cause chaos.

During a press conference on Thursday, Sheriff Ivey delivered a stark warning that left no room for interpretation about what happens to anyone who attacks his officers.

"If you throw a brick, a firebomb, or point a gun at one of our deputies, we will be notifying your family where to collect your remains at. Because we will kill you, graveyard dead. We’re not gonna play," Ivey declared.

The sheriff’s uncompromising stance comes as violent anti-ICE protests have erupted across the country, with Los Angeles seeing some of the worst chaos.

In California, protesters have thrown rocks at police cars on freeways and attempted to block ICE vehicles from leaving enforcement operations.

But Sheriff Ivey made it abundantly clear that kind of lawlessness won’t fly in Brevard County.

"If you resist lawful orders, you’re going to jail, let me be very clear about that," Ivey stated. "If you block an intersection or a roadway in Brevard County, you are going to jail. If you flee arrest, you’re going to go to jail tired, because we are going to run you down and put you in jail."

Sheriff warns mob tactics will backfire

The Brevard County sheriff didn’t stop there in his warning to would-be rioters.

He specifically addressed the mob tactics that have become commonplace in left-wing cities where protesters surround vehicles and prevent drivers from leaving.

"If you try to mob rule a car in Brevard County gathering around it, refusing to let the driver leave, in our county, you’re most likely going to get run over and dragged across the street," Ivey explained.

The sheriff also warned that any physical attacks on his deputies would result in serious consequences.

"If you spit on us, you’re going to the hospital and in jail. If you hit one of us, you’re going to the hospital and jail, and most likely get bitten by one of our big, beautiful dogs that we have here," Ivey added.

His warnings come ahead of planned "No Kings" protests scheduled for June 14, with an estimated 1,800 demonstrations planned across the country targeting President Donald Trump and his administration.

About 75 of these protests are expected to take place across Florida.

Florida Attorney General backs up local law enforcement

Sheriff Ivey wasn’t alone in sending a strong message to potential troublemakers.

Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier announced a new program designed to protect ICE agents and their families who have been "doxxed" by left-wing activists.

"We’ve set up a program where any ICE agent that believes personal identifying information has been revealed will be able to report that to [Florida Highway Patrol] so they can begin routine checkups and patrols, to go make sure the families are OK," Uthmeier explained.

The Attorney General made it clear that Florida won’t tolerate the kind of lawlessness seen in other states.

"We want to put the public on notice in Florida and remind everybody we have a law that says you cannot riot," Uthmeier stated. "We have enhanced penalties if you engage in this behavior in Florida, you will do time."

Uthmeier drew a sharp distinction between peaceful protest, which he said is protected, and the violent demonstrations that have plagued other parts of the country.

"What’s really happening is you have large, sophisticated, deep-pocketed, paid organizations that are funding these efforts. They’re funding these violent demonstrations. They are funding violence and destruction. That is what the left wants," Uthmeier said.

Florida stands firm while other states crumble

The contrast between Florida’s approach and that of liberal states couldn’t be more stark.

While California has seen widespread chaos with protesters attacking law enforcement and blocking traffic, Florida officials are taking a proactive stance to prevent such lawlessness.

President Trump has already deployed 4,000 National Guardsmen and 700 U.S. Marines to Los Angeles to deal with the violent protests there.

Meanwhile, Florida is making it clear that such drastic measures won’t be necessary because they’re not going to let the situation spiral out of control in the first place.

"Shame on Democrat officials who are not condemning this across the country. This is violence. This is dangerous. This is putting families and their safety in jeopardy," Uthmeier said.

Sheriff Ivey emphasized that the violence against law enforcement officers has to stop.

"You’re watching what’s taking place out there. You’re seeing police officers that are being attacked, being spit on, being put in harm’s way just for doing their jobs. You’re seeing ICE agents that are being targeted for doing their jobs," Ivey stated.

The sheriff’s message resonated with Americans who are fed up with the lawlessness that has been allowed to fester in Democrat-controlled cities and states.

Florida continues to show what real leadership looks like when it comes to backing the blue and maintaining law and order.

While other states coddle criminals and allow chaos to reign, Florida is sending a clear message that there are still consequences for violent behavior.

Sheriff Ivey’s warning should serve as a wake-up call to agitators everywhere that not every state will tolerate their destructive antics.
