Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is gearing up to announce a Presidential campaign this summer.
But the GOP establishment is preparing a trap.
And one RINO is about to cost Ron DeSantis everything in 2024.
RINO South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will announce her Presidential campaign on February 15.
Polls show Nikki Haley has no chance to win the GOP nomination.
But what Nikki Haley can do is cost Ron DeSantis the GOP nomination and potentially hand Joe Biden the Presidency.
In a head-to-head matchup, Ron DeSantis leads President Trump.
However, with Haley in the race Trump lands DeSantis and Haley.
That may not provide the strongest general election candidate for Republicans as DeSantis leads Joe Biden where Biden leads Trump by six points.
The Hill reports:
The Yahoo News-YouGov poll found that DeSantis leads Trump in a hypothetical head-to-head match-up, 45 percent to 41 percent. But with Haley in the mix, Trump leads with 38 percent support to DeSantis’s 35 percent and Haley’s 11 percent.
Pollsters also found DeSantis leading President Biden in a hypothetical general election match-up, 44 percent to 43 percent, but Biden leads Trump by 6 points, 47 percent to 41 percent . . .
. . . Trump leads DeSantis by 1 point, 37 percent to 36 percent, in a hypothetical nine-candidate match-up, taking into account other possible candidates.
There are a number of establishment RINOs like Nikki Haley that want to run for President.
South Carolina Senator Tim Scott, former Maryland Governor Larry Hogan, and New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu are all RINOs with no hope to win that nomination that nonetheless are all expected to enter the race.
Nikki Haley – however – will be the first one into the race.
No one can figure out why Haley is running for President.
Haley is a Bush-era RINO who is completely out of touch with the modern Republican Party.
In 2016, Haley called Trump a voice of hate for wanting to build a border wall and crack down on migration from countries that promote terrorism.
Also, in 2016 Nikki Haley opposed legislation to ban biological males from using the girl’s bathroom.
In recent months Haley voiced full-throated support for Joe Biden’s war with Russia in Ukraine.
In foreign policy, cultural issues, and immigration Nikki Haley is a RINO who is in no way in tune with the American people.
