Ryan Routh spent weeks parked outside Trump’s Palm Beach airport watching Air Force One land.
That same airport was just targeted ahead of Trump’s scheduled flight.
And the Palm Beach Sheriff locked down the Trump Airport just hours before he was set to depart.
Palm Beach County Sheriff Moved Fast
Sunday’s investigation began with a phone call that set off a full law enforcement response at Donald J. Trump International Airport in West Palm Beach.
“Law enforcement is investigating a suspicious phone call,” the airport said. “As a precaution, PBSO has slowed traffic entering the terminal, and travelers may experience delays.”
“If you see something, say something,” the airport added. “Report suspicious activity to law enforcement. Thanks for your patience & cooperation.”

Sheriff’s deputies choked off all vehicle access to the terminal while authorities worked the scene.
By 1:20 p.m., the airport had pushed a public alert asking travelers to sit tight.
Roads reopened at 2:34 p.m. – roughly 75 minutes after the lockdown began.
“Oct. 18, 2:34 p.m.: Roadways to the terminal have reopened,” the airport posted on social media. “Airport operations have returned to normal. Thank you for your patience and understanding.”
What was in the call? Authorities hadn’t said by Sunday afternoon.
However, the sheriff’s office recently confirmed that a bomb threat had been reported on Sunday.
This Is the Same Airport Where a Sniper’s Nest Was Found
Palm Beach is not just any airport – it is the airport.
It’s where Ryan Routh lived out of an SUV for weeks, watching Air Force One, before he hid in the bushes at Trump International Golf Club with a semi-automatic rifle on September 15, 2024.
A judge sentenced him to life in prison plus seven years in February 2026.
Weeks later, the Secret Service discovered an elevated hunting stand positioned 200 yards from the Air Force One landing zone – with a clear line of sight to where Trump boards his plane.
The FBI launched a full investigation.

Trump boarded Air Force One using a smaller staircase that trip as a security precaution.
Since the airport was renamed Donald J. Trump International Airport in July 2026, officials have logged more than 5,000 communications directed at the facility.
A woman breached the perimeter and ran onto the taxiway before being stopped – spotted by a civilian, not airport security.
A bomb scare that same month shut down I-95 ramps and airport access roads while the bomb squad worked.
The threats keep coming.
Democrats Built This Threat Environment and They Own It
Secret Service Director Sean Curran testified this year that his agency opened approximately 10,000 threat investigations involving President Trump and other officials in 2026 alone.
That is up from 7,000 during the same period in 2025.
“The threat picture and environment is as large as I’ve ever seen it,” Curran said.
Ask yourself why.
For three straight years, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and virtually every Democrat with a microphone told anyone who would listen that Donald Trump was a fascist, a dictator, and an existential threat to democracy itself.
The media ran the same script around the clock.
You don’t spend years telling people the president is Hitler and then act surprised when someone shows up at his airport with a rifle.
Every one of these incidents – the hunting stand, the taxiway breach, the bomb scare, and now this suspicious call – exists in a climate that Schumer and his party spent years deliberately creating.
They called it democracy.
Everyone else can see exactly what it is.
