Police could not believe why a Florida McDonald’s worker sprang from behind the counter and choked out a young girl

Fast food is supposed to be all about getting a quick and convenient meal.

But some fast food workers make this an impossible task.

And police could not believe why a Florida McDonald’s worker sprang from behind the counter and choked out a young girl.

Fast food provides an affordable and ready-to-eat meal for millions of people across the globe each day.

But when it comes to the United States, Americans eat a lot of fast food.

Studies show that 95% of Americans have eaten fast food within the past year.

At least once per week, 65% of Americans eat fast food and 13% consume it every day.

With so many people trying to get a quick meal, incidents are going to happen at fast food restaurants.

In fact, Fox News reported that “fast food restaurants across the country were plagued by violent incidents in 2022 that included shootings, child endangerment, cash registers flying through windows, and other mishaps.

And that is exactly what happened recently at a McDonald’s in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Around 2:15 in the afternoon, a 17-year-old girl stopped by a McDonald’s for a quick bite to eat.

The girl noticed she needed more sauce for her order.

When the McDonald’s workers ignored her request for more sauce, she walked behind the counter and grabbed a pack of Ranch dressing herself.

As the 17-year-old girl was returning to the lobby with her sauce, 31-year-old Akeena Sampson sprang from behind the counter and “grabbed her arm.”

The teenage girl attempted to break away from the McDonald’s workers’ grip.

That is when Sampson allegedly “grabbed her neck” and dragged her to the ground and proceeded to choke her.

“The mayhem unfolded after the teen was walking back into the lobby area when Sampson rushed over to the girl and grabbed her arm,” Fox News reported. “The victim then tried to free herself from Sampson, who grabbed the victim by the neck, and began to choke her before taking her down to the ground.”

According to the police report, Sampson allegedly “choked the victim again” while they were on the ground.

The police reported that the victim “had visible injuries to her neck and left elbow.”

“The incident was captured on video,” the police report read.

Sampson was arrested and charged with child abuse.

She was released on bond, but a judge ordered her not to have any contact with the victim and to stay away from the “area of offense.”

McDonald’s said in a statement that Sampson has been placed on administrative leave until an investigation is conducted.

“We do not tolerate violence of any kind in our restaurants,” McDonald’s wrote in a statement. “This individual was immediately placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation,” the statement continued. “We are assisting and cooperating with local law enforcement efforts.”

Fast food restaurants can turn violent in an instant.

That is why many Americans just prefer to use the drive-through.
