Police were dumbfounded when a Florida man made this awful excuse to avoid jail

Criminals constantly come up with ways to weasel out of getting arrested.

A cop got one answer from a criminal that takes the cake.

And police were dumbfounded when a Florida man made this awful excuse to avoid jail.

Florida man with an ankle monitor claims he cannot get arrested because of his curfew

Criminals often set themselves up for trouble because they cannot keep their mouths shut.

One Florida criminal got a little too nosey about a car crash and got a trip to jail out of it.

The Polk County Sheriff’s Office responded to a car crash between two vehicles in Winter Haven, Florida.

Sabastian Angel Suarez, a 23-year-old, came out to inspect the scene of the accident in the area of Brady Chase Boulevard and State Highway 540.

Suarez walked up behind one of the sheriff’s deputies at the crash to have a casual conversation.

“Yo, what the f*** happened?” Suarez asked.

The deputy told him it was a car crash, and no one was injured.

“No s*** a car crash happened, who hit who?” Suarez asked.

Suarez was allegedly hovering over the deputy when he asked the question.

The deputy instructed him to go to the sidewalk and told him he would talk to him when he was done.

Suarez could not take a hint to back off.

“F*** you, you can’t tell me what to do,” Suarez fired back.

The deputy gave Suarez a verbal warning that if he did not back off he would be arrested for violating Florida’s Halo law.

Florida’s Halo law creates a 25-foot buffer zone around police, firefighters, and fire responders when they are responding to an emergency situation.

Suarez made a decision not to take the deputy’s warning seriously.

He made an outrageous claim as to why he could not be arrested.

“I’m on an ankle monitor with a curfew, you can’t do s***, you can’t take me anywhere,” Suarez said.

That excuse did not fly with the deputy who had enough of him mouthing off.

Suarez was arrested and fought back as he was being dragged back to the squad car.

Florida man learns a harsh lesson about being a jerk

The deputy managed to get Suarez into the car, but he still would not cooperate.

He still protested that he could not be arrested.

“No, I’m not telling you s***,” Suarez replied with the deputy asked for his name. “I’m on an ankle monitor with a curfew so you have to take me home.”

It turned out that an ankle monitor was not a get-out-of-jail-free card like he believed.

The deputy took Suarez to the Polk County Jail instead of dropping him off at home.

He was on probation with an ankle monitor after being convicted of willful child abuse.

Suarez was charged with violating his probation, resisting arrest without violence, and interfering with a first responder.

He told deputies at the jail that he got upset because he believed one of his relatives was involved in the crash.

Sabastian Angel Suarez learned a hard lesson about knowing when to keep his big mouth closed.
