Horses have played an important role for humans for thousands of years.
Humans and horses have developed a strong bond between our species.
But police were sickened by what this Florida man tried to insert into a horse’s nose.
They say, “dogs are man’s best friend.”
And while the majority of people agree with that statement, many believe that horses should claim that title.
Horses have played a crucial role in human society all throughout history.
Although evidence now suggests that horses have been domesticated for much longer, Britannica states that humankind’s relationship with horses began around 6,000 years ago.
Ancient cave art has been discovered that shows horses being used for riding, pulling chariots, and many other tasks.
Horses have served as a primary means of transportation, a symbol of status, and as a vital tool in warfare.
The domestication of horses revolutionized transportation and communication by enabling the rapid movement of goods, people, and messages.
But today horses are mostly used as companions.
Horses are extremely intelligent and can live for 30 years.
They are also used for therapy due to the strong horse-human connection developed over centuries.
Like humans, horses can experience a wide range of emotions, including happiness, fear, anxiety, and sadness.
And what one sick Florida man did recently made one horse feel violated and scared.
On December 26, deputies in Polk County, Florida responded to a call from a woman who reported seeing her boyfriend engaging in inappropriate behavior near her horse.
According to the woman, the man exposed himself, stroked his genitals, and tapped the horse on his nose with his private part.
Worse yet, the woman captured it all on video and provided the tape to the authorities.
During an interview with the police, 53-year-old Donald Calloway admitted to making a “dumb decision” due to the fact that “I haven’t had any sex in probably two months.”
“A 24-year old female American Quarter Horse was the victim of a crime back in late December,” the Polk County Sheriff’s Office wrote on Facebook. “A woman in Lake Wales contacted the Sheriff’s Office one afternoon, and reported that a known man was outside committing a personal crime against the horse,” Polk County continued. “Very personal.”
The man told police that he was “under a lot of stress lately trying to deal with the finances of living in Florida.”
According to the police report, Calloway has a “criminal history of burglary, theft, and marijuana possession in states such as Illinois, Indiana, and Kentucky.”
And now he has a disgusting record.
Calloway was arrested and charged with sexual contact with an animal.
He remains behind bars, as his charges are serious in Florida.
Polk County Sheriff Judd Grady talked about the incident in a hilarious social media video.
