Democrats are trying to bring back pandemic restrictions because of another variant.
That’s not going to fly in Florida.
And Ron DeSantis dropped one fact that sent Anthony Fauci into a fit of rage.
A push to return to masking is underway by Democrats because of a seasonal increase in COVID-19 cases.
The media is trying to create a hysteria over another variant of the virus that they have breathlessly claimed has scientists on high alert.
An elementary school in Silver Spring, Maryland sent an email to parents which said that because “3 or more” students tested positive for the virus in the last 10 days students would be required to wear KN95 masks.
Masking would become “optional” for students again after 10 days.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis came out firing at a school resorting to an unscientific mask mandate for students.
“They want to muzzle your children,” DeSantis wrote on social media. “Those mandates are DOA in the state of Florida because we’ve enacted protections for parents and children. When I’m President, there will be a reckoning for the harm they’ve done to kids in pursuit of a political agenda.”

DeSantis made his mark by standing up to mask mandates and the other tyrannical restrictions pushed by the public health elites like Dr. Anthony Fauci.
Florida has become the national leader in ensuring that totalitarian pandemic restrictions never return to the state because of his leadership.
DeSantis banned mask mandates in schools two years ago while they were still in effect in most every other state.
The DeSantis War Room account on X, formerly Twitter, noted that Florida under DeSantis is the only state in the country to ban a variety of pandemic restrictions.
“Ban on state and local lockdowns, Ban on state and local mask mandates, Ban on state and local vaccine mandates, Ban on gain-of-function research,” DeSantis War Room wrote.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said that President Joe Biden would “be masking while indoors” moving forward and would only “remove his mask when sufficiently distanced from others” after First Lady Jill Biden tested positive for the virus.
The DeSantis War Room account mocked that decision as “INSANITY.”
The Florida Governor is making bringing accountability to the public health bureaucracy, for their failures during the pandemic, a centerpiece of his campaign.
He used the first Republican presidential debate to attack Fauci and the lockdown while contrasting himself with former President Donald Trump.
“In Florida, we led the country out of lockdown, we kept our state free, and free and open, and I can tell you this, as your president, I will never let the deep state bureaucrats lock you down,” DeSantis said at the debate. “You don’t take somebody like Fauci and coddle him. You bring Fauci in, you sit him down, and you say ‘Anthony, you are fired!’”
Ron DeSantis is still standing up for freedom while some Democrats are dead set on returning to the failed policies they championed during the pandemic.
