Ron DeSantis dropped the hammer on Democrats for ignoring this real insurrection against the rule of law

Democrats are in a frenzy.

Their attempt to convince the American people that Donald Trump and his supporters led an insurrection at the Capitol on January 6 failed.

And now Ron DeSantis just dropped the hammer on Democrats for ignoring this real insurrection against the rule of law.

Gas is skyrocketing, food prices are soaring, and the economy is teetering on the brink of a massive recession.

With no signs of improvement in sight, Democrats are headed for a wipeout at the polls in November.

Instead of focusing on the real problems facing voters, such as skyrocketing inflation, Democrats placed all their chips on Nancy Pelosi’s January 6 Commission changing the political narrative ahead of the Midterm elections.

Most Americans are more concerned with filling up their gas tank and putting food on the table than they are with Pelosi’s January 6 Commission.

Not only that, but the Democrats’ hypocrisy when it comes to violence has been on full display ever since a leaked draft ruling showing the Supreme Court is on the verge of overturning Roe v. Wade.

Last Wednesday, an armed leftist was arrested outside of Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s home.

The madman told police he was there to assasinate Justice Kavanaugh over his opposition to abortion and gun control.

On the same day the would-be killer was arrested, a mob of left-wing activists protested outside of Justice Kavanaugh’s home.

Of course, protesting outside of a judge’s home is a federal crime.

But since the protestors are leftists, they were allowed to continue with their illegal activities outside of Kavanaugh’s home.

Democrats were more concerned with Nancy Pelosi’s primetime January 6 Commission hearing.

During an interview with Fox News, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis blasted the Democrats for falsely painting Trump and his supporters as insurrectionists while refusing to condemn any left-wing violence that occurs.

“I think that we have a rule of law in this country, and you don’t get to just have a mob descend on Supreme Court Justice’s house or try to impede the operations of government because there may be a decision you don’t like,” DeSantis said. “That would be considered an insurrection to stop a court from functioning, and yet they seem to be able to get away with a lot more than if the shoe were on the other foot,” he continued, before adding, “so, I think it’s been really problematic to watch the behavior there.”

DeSantis also blasted the media for barely even reporting on the story, as no mention of the attempt was posted above the fold on The New York Times, Washington Post, and Wall Street Journal’s websites.

“You had someone travel from halfway around the country to come and murder Justice Kavanaugh,” DeSantis said. “And that was like not even significant news in a lot of the mainstream media. And not only was it significant because it’s an attack on somebody’s life — they’re trying to change the outcome of decisions that they are concerned that they don’t like, and that is just totally antithetical to a rule of law.”

Polls backup DeSantis’ criticism of Democrats.

The majority of voters say Donald Trump bore no or little responsibility for the events at the Capitol on January 6.

And if the Democrats continue to focus solely on Pelosi’s witch hunt, they are setting themselves up for an even worse shellacking at the polls this fall.
