Ron DeSantis exposed the shocking truth about the firebombing attack on Holocaust survivors in Colorado

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis isn’t mincing words about who’s responsible for the horrific attack on Jewish Americans in Colorado.

The tough-talking governor pointed his finger directly at the Biden-Harris administration’s border policies.

And Ron DeSantis exposed the shocking truth about the firebombing attack on Holocaust survivors in Colorado.

Florida Governor condemns attack by illegal immigrant on pro-Israel event

Governor Ron DeSantis came out swinging at a Sarasota press conference Monday morning where he addressed the disturbing attack that left eight people injured in Boulder, Colorado.

The incident occurred when 45-year-old Mohamed Sabry Soliman, an Egyptian national who entered the U.S. on a tourist visa in August 2022 that expired in February 2023, allegedly hurled Molotov cocktails and used a makeshift flamethrower on participants at a “Run for Their Lives” demonstration that was calling for the release of Israeli hostages held by Hamas.

Among the injured were 12 people, with ages ranging from 52 to 88, including at least one Holocaust survivor.

“Why are we letting people like this guy into the country from Colorado?” DeSantis asked during the press conference. “He should have never been here to begin with, and he sure as hell should have been sent home when this visa expired.”

DeSantis didn’t stop there.

He placed the blame squarely on the previous administration’s immigration policies that allowed Soliman to remain in the country illegally for more than two years after his visa expired in 2022.

“This is the wages of having basically an open border for four years under the previous administration,” DeSantis stated.

DeSantis points to media’s role in fueling antisemitism

The Florida governor also took aim at the media for their role in what he sees as contributing to the recent surge in antisemitic violence across the United States.

“I do think that there’s a lot that goes on, quite frankly, in some of the lies that get spread in the media that probably get some of these guys wound up,” DeSantis remarked.

His comments highlight the disturbing 300% increase in antisemitic incidents reported by the Anti-Defamation League since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023.

The Boulder attack is just one example of the escalating violence.

The assailant reportedly shouted “Free Palestine” while launching his attack on the group, which was formed to advocate for the 58 hostages still being held in Gaza from the original 250 captured during the Hamas attack.

Florida leads the way in combating illegal immigration

DeSantis has been a vocal advocate for stricter immigration enforcement.

Under his leadership, Florida has taken unprecedented steps to address the issue of illegal immigration.

The Sunshine State recently conducted its largest single-day immigration raid on a Tallahassee construction site, resulting in 100 people being detained, according to USA Today.

Florida is now the only state requiring all 67 of its counties to partner with federal authorities to deport unauthorized immigrants, a policy that began in January and aligns with President Donald Trump’s stance on illegal immigration.

Governor issues stern warning to potential attackers

DeSantis said that similar attacks would not be tolerated in Florida, sending a direct message to anyone considering such actions in his state.

“This type of stuff will not fly in Florida,” DeSantis declared. “You will absolutely live to regret that,” he warned potential attackers.

The Governor also highlighted Florida’s proactive measures to combat antisemitism, including providing security for Jewish Day schools and deploying Highway Patrol after the October 7th attacks.

“We’ve done a lot in Florida over the years. It’s nothing new for us to be responding,” DeSantis said, noting that Florida acted quickly to rescue Americans from Israel following the Hamas attack, claiming they did so “before Biden even did it.”

The Boulder attack has been condemned across the political spectrum, though conservatives have been particularly vocal about how it demonstrates the dangers posed by both illegal immigration and rising anti-Israel sentiment in the United States.

Soliman now faces 16 counts of attempted first-degree murder, hate crime charges, and other felonies, with a potential maximum sentence of over 600 years if all convictions run consecutively.

As antisemitic incidents continue to rise across the country, DeSantis’s comments underscore the complex intersection of immigration policy, media influence, and growing tensions surrounding the Israel-Hamas conflict that have spilled over onto American soil.
