Elon Musk attacked for his role in killing wasteful government funding bill
RINO Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-FL) and Democrats tried to pass a 1,547-page spending bill to keep the government funded until March.
This was supposed to be passed at the last minute before Christmas break, so members of Congress did not have any time to read the bill and make a stink.
Disaster relief after two devastating hurricanes was included in the bill to pressure wavering Representatives and U.S. Senators to vote for it.
The spending bill was stuffed full of pork that the Washington, D.C. Swamp hoped would go unnoticed in the bustle before Christmas.
It included the first pay raise for lawmakers since 2019, pet projects, and Democrat giveaways that had nothing to do with keeping the government operating.
Tesla CEO Elon Musk sounded the alarm on his social media platform X about the bill which rallied grassroots pressure against it.
President-elect Donald Trump eventually called for Republican lawmakers to kill the bill.
The spending bill was pulled and replaced with another bad bill that did not include the pay raise and much of the worst pork of the original.
Democrats were outraged that Musk had a role in stopping their final giveaway under President Joe Biden.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton accused Musk of running the Republican Party during the spending fight.
“If you’re just catching up: the Republican Party, taking orders from the world’s richest man, is on course to shut down the government over the holidays, stopping paychecks for our troops and nutrition benefits for low-income families just in time for Christmas,” Clinton wrote on X.
Democrats had attacks that followed a similar theme of Musk being a billionaire controlling the GOP.
Ron DeSantis notes the silence from Democrats on George Soros
Democrats decried money in politics and the influence that Musk had over Republicans during the spending fight.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called out Democrats for being silent about globalist billionaire George Soros.
“The Left finds [Elon Musk] speaking out against a bloated spending bill to be a big problem,” DeSantis wrote on X. “Yet, when George Soros pours millions of dollars into electing leftist district attorneys who pledge to go easy on criminals, that is somehow democracy in action. Make it make sense!”
Soros is the biggest bankroller of Democrats who has poured his fortune into advancing his left-wing agenda.
Democrats never mention him when they complain about money in politics or the influence of billionaires.
They only care about the wealthy if their money and influence are being used against them.
Musk is going to be in the spotlight next year when the Trump administration takes office for his work on the new Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to cut wasteful government spending.
He is going to become one of the Left’s new boogeymen.
