Ron DeSantis had seen enough after one awful betrayal.
He is ready to go to war against the Swamp in his state.
And Ron DeSantis gave one dire warning to RINO sellouts that left them shaking in their boots.
Ron DeSantis calls out RINOs for refusing to help Trump’s immigration agenda
President Donald Trump is carrying out mass deportations of thousands of illegal aliens.
To make this effort succeed he is going to need the help of states apprehending illegal aliens in them.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis called for a special session of the State Legislature to combat illegal immigration.
He sold the session as a chance for Florida to do its part to help the Trump agenda by passing tough new laws against illegal immigration and providing sheriffs with the funding they need to help assist in mass deportations.
RINO Florida State House Speaker Daniel Perez (R-FL) and RINO Florida Senate President Ben Albritton (R-FL) refused to work with DeSantis on the special session.
They argued that it was too close to the regular session in March to call a special one.
DeSantis had not heard anything from Perez and Albritton about what they planned to do in the special session.
He warned against them gaveling in the session and immediately gaveling out.
“That would be very, very hazardous politically, I think, for these members to do, and I have my constitutional authority to wield in this process, and I will continue to wield it as appropriate so that we’re able to get the job done,” DeSantis told reporters.
DeSantis warned that he was not going to back down.
“I said the other day, it’s like a junkyard dog,” DeSantis explained. “You got the chain. As soon as someone comes in that junkyard you jump on them and just don’t let go, you don’t let go. These issues, immigration and the election integrity, I’m not letting go.”
Florida RINOs come up with a fake anti-illegal immigration bill
DeSantis had a list of legislative proposals including making it a state crime for illegal aliens to enter Florida and expanding facilities to detain illegal aliens.
The RINO leadership in the Florida Legislature pulled a bait and switch with a classic legislative trick.
They introduced the misnamed Trump Act as a standalone illegal immigration bill.
Like former President Barack Obama’s Affordable Care Act and former President Joe Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, the name is wildly deceiving.
The Trump Act takes power away from the Governor over illegal immigration and puts it in the hands of the Florida Agriculture Commissioner who supports it for cheap farm labor.
Agriculture has historically been the largest employer of illegal aliens in Florida.
“We need strong immigration legislation that ensures Florida is doing everything it can to assist this important federal mission,” DeSantis wrote on X.
DeSantis pointed out the failure of the Trump Act to act on key priorities to help with the mass deportation of illegal aliens.
