Joe Biden is officially running for reelection next year.
It’s game on for the Presidential race.
And Ron DeSantis had this perfect response to Joe Biden’s 2024 announcement.
Joe Biden announced his reelection campaign with a three minute video declaring his intention to “finish the job.”
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis showed just why that was such an unfortunate choice for a campaign slogan with a brutal response video.
The DeSantis WarRoom Twitter account posted a devastating clap back video detailing Joe Biden’s failures on the border, crime, and the economy.
DeSantis’ WarRoom poked Biden with recent polling data showing 70 percent of Americans believe the country is heading in the wrong direction, which is a clear message that the public does not want Joe Biden to finish the job.

How Biden’s Republican rivals responded to the announcement previewed how they would handle a general election campaign.
In this case, DeSantis is not yet a declared candidate for President.
But his team is not even pretending an announcement isn’t coming soon by trying to step on Biden’s announcement by framing any potential head to head matchup between DeSantis and Biden as a referendum on Biden’s team in office.
Democrats know Biden cannot win an up or down vote on his performance as President.
An NBC News poll showed 70 percent of Americans do not want Biden to run for a second term.
48 percent said Biden’s age played a major role in that decision.
NBC’s poll also found Biden trailing a generic Republican candidate by six points, 47 to 41 percent.
The last thing Biden’s handlers want next fall is the visual of a 44-year-old Governor who was a former college athlete standing side by side on a debate stage with a frail, graying, and increasingly senile 80-year-old Biden.
RealClearPolitics shows DeSantis leading Biden by 1.9 points.
Joe Biden thinks his only chance to win reelection rests on Republicans nominating a candidate where Biden can turn the election from a referendum to a choice between two alternatives.
Ron DeSantis is throwing down a marker to show that if he is the nominee Biden will not be able to execute that Hail Mary play.
